Look how they screwed it up in the 40 years. Welfare system, illegal immigration, education standards went down hill. They complain about us being in Iraq for 3 years, but they keep us in Vietnam for 10 years and want us to go into Sudan.

Why did OBL, Hamas, PLO, North Korea to name a few come out and say the best thing for them is if the Democrats win? That says a lot about the Democrat party.

They were also conservative then. The way the dems are today there is no way they will hold congress for more than 6 years tops, and don't be surprised if they lose it in two. I remember the last time they had it and they made the comment that they didn't care what the people wanted, they were passing the medical reform bill (the reps took control by 60 seats after that comment).

The progressive agenda is neither popular nor wanted, if the dems are riding that they will be kicked out pretty quick. Of course if the bluedogs take back over they might have a chance to be in a while.

2 years. Only 2 years. Pelosi and her ilk are already screwing up and showing their true colors. There is a reason that during the elections, the dems kept murtha, pelosi, kerry, etc etc etc under covers. They didn't want the voting public to know who they really are. The dems never want the public to know who they really are or what they stand for. As soon as the bleary eyed, somewhat slow majority of american's wake up to what they stand for, it's over. Not only that, but the dems will insure their failure by nominating the likes of Hillary Clinton as their presidential nominee in '08. Really doesn't matter who the repubs put up. Hillary is unelectable as a presidential candidate.

Neocons were PART of the Dem party for most of that time. There is no reason to expect that Dems reign will be long this time.

Does it really matter who says they are in control. Wars will be fought, people will be killed, rich get richer, and taxes will rise.
These are facts as I know them. It happens when the Repuclican President and then the Democratic President trade places, then the congress switches sides, and 25 years later the regaurdless of who was in what seat at what time, they will vote for more pay for themselves, it will pass, they will vote for more taxes on everything, most will pass.
I can show you one graph that says Republicans do better math and Democrats are lousy bankers, then I can show you a graph, from the same source, that says the opposite is true. Depends on who made the graph, and who payed for it.

Well, if it's coming from a dem like you, I have no worries. I believe that sane dems wouldn't even consider consulting with someone that dense.

every election brings change of faces but the general direction seems to be to the conservative side, even if the so-called liberals are in power.
