I live in an apartment complex that is seriously overcrowded, 2 bedroom apartments with 10-12 poeple living in them, I know this is against some kind of law, does anyone know who I can complain to? This is in Franklin County Ohio. Management knows of the problem and condones it, this is unhealthy. I am sure that many are illegal, there is trash everywhere, water bills are getting really expensive and now some people are getting cockroaches, it is unsafe and I want something done about it, but I don't know who to contact to do something about it. Does anyone out there know what I can do? I still have 10 months left on my lease so, I cant move at the moment.

I feel so distraught of US/Canadian relations. Never have both Governments been in such agreement while their respective people's are at odds. Canadians tend to be very observant of all politics and its clearly evident (to me anyway), how my neighbors to the South are being deceived by their media. I'm not professing to be any better; we have our problems in Canada as well.

As a Canadian who has MANY American relatives, I'm really sadden to see the state of Affairs in both our countries, both Political and social. The relationship between both nations has never been sadder and although your President has taken a liking to our new Prime Minister, it does not weight well with the general population. His ministry is suffering a drop in polls because of it, and the Soft Wood Lumber deal hasn't helped him either.

Both nations need to start taking notice of the sad state of affairs, both within and out their borders. We need better people in office!

What do you think?

I have received SSI while waiting on a decision from Social Security. I was denied but I am appealing the decision. I would appreciate any info from someone who has appealed and won their case.

I am specifically talking about the softwood lumber dispute with canada and the us when the the us slapped a tariff on the softwood which was a contravention of the nafta agreement (according to the nafta panel) but yet he chose not to give money back that was unjustly taken.

After all, according to republicans...these are "socialist" policies.

My point is, can't they realize that social programs and policies are necessary (and more necessary now than ever!)?
George W. Bush certainly needs to realize this because the cost of living for the middle class is skyrocketing while the rich excel beyond belief.
Of course we democrats don't believe in absolute socialism, and it shows great ignorance to think otherwise. But is life how it is now fair? I think not, and most of the American population agrees whether you do or not.

i have herd many many things, and i am currently waiting to hear back from my grndfather abou tthe freemasons. i have heard that they are nothing but a "helping hand" so to speak that they just help others in need, and help eachother. i heard things about cults and the higher up worshiping the devil. i have also heard that they do not follow any religion, as well as they are a religion. i have been told that they are based on a "secret" whatever that may be. i have heard that they have a part in major religions and other cults, such as catholics and the LDS (mormons). i also heard that their teachings are by mouth only so things can change and that they teach things condradicting to the bible. i am not bashing and not condoning. i am simply asking cause im not real sure what to believe. i do believe there are cults that claim to be religious to save their name, and there are some organizations that are not cults but everyone seems to think they are... so help me out a bit here?

Why in the world is this not getting more attention? Our gov't can now arrest U.S citizens without a warrant and throw them in prison and not be allowed a trial. Our Constitution is hanging by a thread and something needs to be done about this.

If you do the least amount of work should you get the most help? Shouldnt hard working families recieve some kind of help too? Arent they more deserving. Dont be fooled, a huge percentage of people collecting government benefits do so by choice. It angers me that after Katrina I got a loan fromt he SBA but if I had bad credit or lower income I would have gotten a 10-20k dollar grant from the government. Why does our system work this way? What motivation do they have to work if they are provided enough to live on and have no ambition for anything else? Cant we rip them from the government teet and start spending that money on industrious persons?

Yesterday, we had a discussion about World War III in our social studies class. It's sort of scaring me. [I'm not trying to offend anyone if I bring up some country names here. Sorry if I do.] But America and Canada are extremely close countries, and a lot of people want revenge on America.

i.e. Vietnam, Iraq, Venezuela [because of Bush, that monkey-butt..], North Korea..

A lot of these countries have their own atomic weapons. Would they launch them at Canada or America?

Also, what is the age that the soldiers would have to be to go to war? [I have an eleven year old brother and a forty-five year old father.]

Thank you! =]

So on a scale of 200, 0 being most secure about foreign ties and 200 being least, the present score came up 130. Some of you will think the number somewhat accurate, some will think it is a lie.

My number would be closer to 160. I believe our foreign policy is ill-conceived and based on propaganda, and instead of nations coming together, we are driving them apart.

How would you score?

Other feedback?
