Religion POLITICS and WAR go like Hand and Glove.Every high priest and politician is a war mongrel.So don't be surprised if Thomas Jefferson is a war monger.

No! In fact he constantly fought with Congress to keep us out of war. Congress at that time wanted war, and when Jefferson left office, they got it.
