I'm a stout democrat.. but i have to say the fault lies with Gore on this one.. he had the power to investigate and take the presidency that he won, but he failed the people by allowing it to slide by.

I assume by the nature of the question that you are (were) a Gore supporter. Do you actually believe that Alfonse would do a better job of handling the 'GWOT' then has been done so far?
Come on guy!-Gore (like nearly all Demos, deep down) is a gun-grabbing globalist, elitist from way back to the days that his father had Hitler's 1930's Nuremburg laws translated into English, and gave us the infamous Gun Control Act of 1968.

Does anyone really want to give up their rights of self-defense, and to own their own weaponry, in light of 9/11, the 'Patriot' Act, the BATFE, New Orleans, the Florida storms, etc., etc.? If you do, I think Mr. Castro still has room to accomodate a few more 'gringos'!

Still weeping and gnashing your communislam fascist teeth, are you? Old Al Gore got gored because he was attempting to steal the election but the recount verified that GW had won. Jam that up your pipe and smoke it!!!!

In the first place, Harris did not "give" anything to anybody. The Florida results were being queered by the heavily Democratic Florida Supreme Court, and the meddling was eventually stopped by the US Supreme Court. In the second place, nobody in Washington is in a position to give her anything -- she is running for elected office, and if she wins (I hear that she is trailing), it will be because of the voters in Florida. I suggest you secure the facts before asking asinine questions such as this one.

Remember the NY Times and The Washington Post said that Bush won fairly after they counted all the votes. Nobody ever brings that up.

AL GORE DIDNT WIN! learn how to count and get over it. your all like a bunch of immature sore losers, kicking the game board after you lost "candyland" fair and square. it's been 6 years, dont you think this is gettin slightly pathetic? How did Bush "cheat" Kerry out of the presidency in '04? did he hide the Ace of spades up his sleeve? get a life.

Wow.... still bitter????

Katherine Harris didn't "give" the election to anyone, continuing to hold on to that belief simply proves your idiocy.

Second, if you were going to pay someone back, you would GIVE them a job in Washington, not make them run for office.

Get over it.... it was six years ago.
