It covers anyone the president deems an ememy combatant - including US Citizens. Not to be an alarmist here but once upon a time there used to be a bedrock legal principle called habeas corpus. These are dark times.

Now, conservatives have engineered and embraced the most intrusive government in American history!

i have heard that by 2010 there is going to be another building on ground zero surely it should be left as ground zero. i think that it should not be built on because of all the people that died there it should be left like that as a mark of repect and as a place for relitives to go and remember there loved ones who died on that awful day.
what do you think?
do you agree or do you think it should have another building built on top thats going to take away all the memories. i no there bad memories but surely as a mark of respect it should be left.
please dont be offended by this i only wanted to know what other people think about this.
thanks

Nor has he been a perfect President. He is a good man and he has been the best President under the circumstances that have arisen during his Presidency.

He is a man who sincerely cares about the wellbeing of the American public. He takes every imaginable path to keep our country safe. He does not allow criticism to influence doing what is necessary in regards to the War on Terror.

Contrary to what the opposing political party would have people believe, our economy is as strong as it has ever been. The Stock Market is breaking records on a regular basis. Unemployment is very low, 4.6%. Think about that. It means that 95.6% of the available workforce is employed! Over 6 million new jobs have been created over the past 5 years. More Americans own their own homes than at any other time in history.

There has never been a time in history that I know of that a sitting President has had to deal with more ridicule and condemnation from inside his own borders.

to be continued..

I have believed since I was young, and heard time and time again, that as Americans it is our right and our DUTY to speak up when we believe that wrong has been done, no matter by whom, the President, or anyone else.
Is that your stand?
Or should the President be able to govern without being questioned?
Every President in my lifetime and in history has been questioned very harshly. Lincoln was drawn as an ape in political cartoons. Nixon was drawn crawling out of a sewer. Clinton was called a pimp.
For his whole first term, W received little critsism.
So...to question or not?

Have you conciderd the Revolutionary Party?
To achieve socialism, the most militant workers must be organized into a revolutionary socialist party. The ISO is committed to playing a role in laying the foundations for such a party. We aim to build an independent socialist organization, rooted in workplaces, schools and neighborhoods that, in fighting today’s struggles, also wins larger numbers to socialism.

They have the resources of a country after all, don't they? I don't understand why everyone just accepts that we know for sure they don't have one yet, but are just working on it.
