Nor has he been a perfect President. He is a good man and he has been the best President under the circumstances that have arisen during his Presidency.

He is a man who sincerely cares about the wellbeing of the American public. He takes every imaginable path to keep our country safe. He does not allow criticism to influence doing what is necessary in regards to the War on Terror.

Contrary to what the opposing political party would have people believe, our economy is as strong as it has ever been. The Stock Market is breaking records on a regular basis. Unemployment is very low, 4.6%. Think about that. It means that 95.6% of the available workforce is employed! Over 6 million new jobs have been created over the past 5 years. More Americans own their own homes than at any other time in history.

There has never been a time in history that I know of that a sitting President has had to deal with more ridicule and condemnation from inside his own borders.

to be continued..

President Bush has never lashed back at his accusers. Actually, he defends their right to condemn him. It takes a mighty big man to be able to do that.

I don't know that I could stand up to that kind of pressure. Could you?

Russ, with all due respect, your claim that President Bush "has attacked everyone who ever sought to criticize him, referring to them as traitors" is simply not true. Please show us one creditable quote where this has happened. Also, please tell me which fact that I gave is erroneous. If you are going to make that claim you should follow it up with facts. I welcome your showing me where I stated something that is not true.

I agree with you. Most of the people who blindly bash him would do so no matter what he does. Mostly they are extreme left who basically want a socialist society, to share the wealth and take care of them, but want no control by society over what they do in their personal lives. Some are an extreme Right wing that are mad about immigration and think big brother is watching their every move. .
There are things I believe he is doing extremely well and some things I believe he has dropped the ball on. It will probably be that way with any president we ever have. Most of Europe hates him, but they have a economy that is crumbling, gas prices twice to three times as high as ours, they are losing their individual identity thru the European Union which was formed with the thought of creating a Economic giant, and they still cannot create the jobs or the money and do not have any where near the standard of living the US does.

Electoral college and 9/11- we decide people to vote for us(?) Sounds puzzling? lower back interior the horse days. It grew to become into very almost impossible for the folk to pass to the polling places, so we ask a consultant (Electoral college) to symbolize a team of people. The form of Representatives relies upon on the inhabitants of the area. for occasion, Hawaii and Rhode Island are small states that each have 2 electorals. Hawaii has a inhabitants of around a million.5 million, and Rhode Island has a million Million. each has 2 votes interior the school, however the different is a splash "bigger." at present via fact we can rather much vote everywhere interior the worldwide, the Electoral college can be replaced by way of the favored Vote. interior the 2000 election Gore honestly gained the favored vote, yet lost the Electoral college vote. via rule of thumb Bush gained the 2000 election. we'd desire to continually be bitter, yet he nevertheless gained on the 2004 election, and that we can blame on 9/11. we can rather much blame any misfortune on 9/11.

He certainly does not allow criticism to influence his actions. What a strong president.

Sincerely caring about the public is not enough. When has that mattered before? Caring about us? Making people safe? The protector. The defender. Safety and pillowcushions. Suppose he'll tuck you in bed, make the demons go away.

You say he hasn't achieved perfection. But in yours and his opinions, it's the voters that should take the blame about bad things. There's blind faith. Here's a man who has the most responsible job in the world and refuses to claim responsibility. Ethic of a businessman, surely.

Why is the government filled with wealthy businessmen, anyway? Somehow this would compromise their ethics on their post. Perhaps you're right that more US citizens own their own plot of land. But how many more own three, four, five houses? How many people are still living below the poverty line in the richest country in the world? How is the divide between rich and poor being crossed?

Of course none of that matters to you. But it's good you support your leader in a time of war. That surely requires strength. None of the sheeple here think about how leaders start wars on pesky countries to stay in power. What better way to distract a hundred million people. Would Bush still be in office if he hadn't launched into Iraq? They needed that war, Proud American.

Funny how you keep reporting me. Funny how people rage against me not having an email address to send abuse to here without having their own one up.

Thank you for reminding us of what we have in a President! And No, I don't think anyone could take the constant "beating" our President takes without having a deep well of inward strength. His wife is his confidant and gift. The Presidential prayer team and people of many faiths respectfully hold up his arms. Let's not forget to pray for the President and First Lady tonight. Let's remember that they are ordinary folk inside, just like the rest of us. When we "smite" them, it hurts! Let us give honor to whom honor is due. Let's send him a note to thank him for laying down his life for the well-being of the United States of America. No one in their right mind would want his job. We can be thankful for wonderful and great President, George W. Bush.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion.
All through history, every President has had supporters and detractors.
It will always be that way.
We should also remember not everything Bush does is entirely his idea or decision.
He receives advice and information from very learned and informed colleagues and sources.

Unless he is a very stupid man, and can prove it, he should be tried for treason. Only the most uninformed and the blindly obedient don't have at least some question about US govt. involvement in some pretty nasty things.

You are giving your freedom away. Don't just follow blindly. Learn, listen and don't be a sheep.

It is your right to like him, I will defend that right. BUT
Many of the facts you use as basis for liking him are erroneous.
He has attacked everyone who ever sought to criticize him, referring to them as traitors
Further he has not had to deal with anymore criticism than other presidents, he just refuses to give honest answers!
