They have the resources of a country after all, don't they? I don't understand why everyone just accepts that we know for sure they don't have one yet, but are just working on it.

Many reasons.
1) You can generally pickup the radiation emissions from a nuclear weapon.
2) They probably would have used one
3) They would be boasting about it

There are many ways of learning if a country has nukes and you must know many of them. We don't know for certain where a country stands exactly but we have a very good guess as to how far they have progressed. Iran is coming along rapidly. N. Korea is undoubtedly ahead of Iran. This is a true test for America and the United Nations. What will we do to prevent these countries from breaking the laws which were set up by the UN countries to prevent nuclear proliferation? There are such laws. Will we ever honor them? We are stuck with a bunch of deadbeats and we now know who our real friends are.

Bush was so sure that iraq had mass distruction weapons and through and after the war on iraq we didnt hear about one chimecal or nuke missle, so from the way i see it i think iran has its nuke bomb and wont think twice in using it if america tried 2 make her another iraq and lately america has dadicated all her forces to fight the rising forces in the middle east to serve her need for oil and her blind support for israel and we r watching how its all gonna end and i dont think its gonna be good for both fighting sides.

If Iran had a nuke, they would've tested it by now, as was the case with India and Pakistan. Having a nuke isn't something to keep secret. It's a bragging right, a statement to the rest of the world, "don't mess with us, because we have one, too." Believe me, if they had one, Ahmadinejad would've been screaming it from the mountaintops and threatening us with it as we speak.
