Remember Reagan used to preach it!
Now, conservatives have engineered and embraced the most intrusive government in American history!
Has EVERYONE been hoodwinked but me?

Last I checked, the Patriot Act was opposed by far more Democrats than Republicans. It was enacted by a Republican House and Senate and largely upheld by the most conservative U.S. Supreme Court in history! Geez, don't you people read the news?

No. We have a government of fascists pretending to be conservatives. If I were a conservative, I'd be enraged about it. In fact, if I were a liberal I'd be enraged. In fact, I am enraged. So is everyone else I know except for a few fascists.

I wonder if you'd be asking this question if you had been in Manhattan on 9/11. The Patriot Act is designed to protect our Citizens from people who want to kill them just because they are Americans. Do you think it would be smarter to just hand them a loaded gun and close your eyes to pray that they won't hurt you, or to take a few proactive measures to ensure that we may survive this mess. By your way of thinking burglar alarms and locks on doors should be outlawed.

I guess you are talking about the Patriot Act. You might notice that the Democrats and liberals also voted to inact this. In fact, a number of them offered even more stringent bills.

LOL......911 happened, and we have a new breed of terrorist that want to kill innocent civilians. I think the minimal measures that have been brought forth to date will not impact your life at all, unless of course you are involved in some activity that needs watching. You have no clue what intrusive is. In China your question would have gotten you hauled off.

No, not everyone, only the one third of the deaf, dumb, and dumber that still blindly support this administration. I am hoping for a democratic majority for the final two years of his term in office, to make him a true lame duck, just so he can do no more damage to the country and to the world.

No not everyone - I am a real conservative - I believe in limited government - drug legalization - woman's rights - gay marriage - and unregulated markets. All of those believes follow from not wanting the government to be my dad.

I agree with you on this question. Conservatism has sold us a bill of goods. Once again it proves that both parties are really the same party. They're very little difference.
