It is not a right of a citizen to question the government, it is a responsibility, it is also a responsibility to DEMAND an answer.
It is the responsibility of elected officials to answer these questions honestly!
In answer to your statement-
The Bush administration has played fast and loose, they don't answer questions, in fact anyone who asks is labeled a traitor.
This tactic has reduced the number of questions and criticism Bush has received, but they are now intensifying!!
I think now is no longer the time to ask those question, now is the time to demand answers, and hold accountable those that fail to answer!

Sure. But they key word here is "respectfully." I disagree that W recieved little criticism for his first term. Maybe the first half of his first term, but after 9/11, all I have heard is criticism. I say the key word here is "respectfully" because when it does that way (and with facts) it is taken more seriously than rants and ravings and name calling. Taken that way, I believe you are correct.

Nothing wrong with respectfully questioning the government. The key word, however, is RESPECTFULLY.
To make up fallacies, or to threaten the life of the president, is NOT to be tolerated.

To criticize the government for its wrongdoing is a right that must not be curtailed because it is a constitutional right in order to eliminate the evolution of a dictator.

Questioning and a witch hunt and down right lying are different things. The endangering of the country for the sheer desire for power is criminal.

I agree that it is our duty & responsibility to question the govt. we need to be good stewards of our way of life if we expect to be able to sustain it & pass it on to the next generation, we have been poor at it lately.
