World War Three?

Question

Yesterday, we had a discussion about World War III in our social studies class. It's sort of scaring me. [I'm not trying to offend anyone if I bring up some country names here. Sorry if I do.] But America and Canada are extremely close countries, and a lot of people want revenge on America.

i.e. Vietnam, Iraq, Venezuela [because of Bush, that monkey-butt..], North Korea..

A lot of these countries have their own atomic weapons. Would they launch them at Canada or America?

Also, what is the age that the soldiers would have to be to go to war? [I have an eleven year old brother and a forty-five year old father.]

Yeah its going to happen eventually and those countries arent the only ones that want American blood shed. I wouldnt suprised if there was a WWIII also since Bush only has 2 more years in office hes going to not care or be slack about a lot of things while hes in office since he cant get re elected again. In politcs class we were talking about how a lot of Republicans are turning against Bush because of those stupid signing statements he makes when he doesnt like a law that Congress passes since they cant do anything about laws he doesnt want and he vetoes them. People are delusioned if they dont think were not going to have a WWIII. Dont get scared yet kid the sh!t hasnt hit the fan yet. Buts its going to soon. There are a lot tensions between nations on this North Korea doing a second nuke test. North Korea sure doesnt give a damn about sanctions or "punishment"for doing nuclear test. Their going to do what they want. Also it doesnt help that those damn Ruskies gave Venezuela $3billon dollars worth of weapons and aircraft. Also the new president that got elected in Ecuador is a great admirier of Hugo Chavez so Ecuador might be up to something as well. Maybe even Cuba is who knows what that summit meeting a couple months ago was about since a lot of the United States's enemies were there. So yeah there are a lot of countries/people that want us dead and want us brought down. I guess thats what America gets for being the world police and telling other countries what to do.So yeah America is going down. God help this country and our government because we sure do need him. Ecspecially since our society is losing sight of God, morals, and ethics.

also their will never be a world war three. no one will ever launch nuclear weapons at canada since they dont aggravate anyone. Other than North Korea non of the countries you mentioned have nuclear weapons...and for that they are not even 100% sure if North Korea's "nuclear test" worked.. Its not something I would not worry about. If something were to happen it be fast and dangerous and not fought with soldiers....we saw it with 9/11 that in this day and age war is fought with economy, technology, and mass destruction not tanks and guns

Vietnam does not have nuclear weapons. Iraq does not have nuclear weapons. Venezuela does not have nuclear weapons.

North Korea has no missle delivery system yet which can successfully reach the US/Canada.

11 September 2001. The age to go into the Armed Forces of the USA is 18 and your 45 year old father is too old and your 11 year old brother is too young.

It's not just because of Bush and if that's what you're being taught in class your teacher is wrong. These problems have been on going for many, many years. If world war three happens, it's because of the ignorant countries and leaders you've mentioned above. I say- screw them!!!

none of them really have the range to hit america and those that do, we have NORAD to detect missles on route to america, nobody really cares about canada unless the people who programmed it did it wrong. honestly if they do hit us, we will strike back. remember we have more nukes than all the other countries combine. do i believe WW3 will be fought with nukes? yes, the real question is when will NK launch it

Don't worry about something that may never happen. When I was a child many years ago we used to have drills about what to do in case of an atomic attack, and it's never happened.

You have reason to be concerned. Lots of nations now have nukes, and when a nuclear war begins, it is all OVER for humanity. Every thing would be so radioactive, the earth will become uninhabitable.

I think is inevitable,but i don't know how any one will be able to win a non nuclear war.Both sides will have terrible losses.
