I'm sure that this question has been asked before. But, here in Colorado we have a domestic partnerships bill that will give rights to unmarried and same sex couples (like right to make decisions for a sick partner, right to have benefits from wills, etc.). Its being billed as not marriage quite explicitly- that it just is offering some of the benefits of marriage without marriages. So, knowing its not marriage, would you prove for or against it and why?

Since Bush is the new Hitler, tell me how these two gentlemen are so alike, remember though these similarities cannot reflect on any similarities shown by the Democratic Party, as they are pure and free of sin.

My opinion is that any candidate would have helped the middle class more than Bush has. And that is most important to me.

But why do you think John Kerry would have screwed up our country badly? Like what policies and ideals did he hold that leads you to believe he would have messed up our nation?

Oh, and don't just say because he was a democrat. THAT IS NOT A GOOD ENOUGH ANSWER!

Why? Do you think we are forced to show him respect as if we lived in a dictatorship? I know Bush said once "A dictatorship would be easier. No doubt about it." But he is not the dictator and we are free in this country to have our own ideas. Especially when the president thinks he is above the Constitution.
How come republicans don't agree?

I ask because which forum has the best info to make a informed, unbias opinion? Oh, that's right, there isn't one. So how can really say the real reasons why we are at war? I keep on hearing people telling me to stop believing the lies we are told. Ok, but who are telling them things. There is just too much we don't know to really say anything about the war. There are some things that we probably shouldn't know for security sake.

Our president did not even make a single effort to help devastated Katrina victims in New Orleans in 2005. He just left them to die with their struggle, homelessness, and despair.

But two days ago violent flooding hit most of the Houston area, killing 4 people and closing many roads. Will Bush provide the people of Houston with relief now when they need it, unlike those in New Orleans?

If he doesn't, what will the people in his home state of Texas think?
Even if he does, shouldn't he also do more to finally resolve the troubles in New Orleans?

To all the people who believe our war is bad, why are the people who are fighting it, comming back to do it agian? My brother is an Army recruiter and he is putting people in the army in droves. He told me that most of the people he knows that are up to get out of the Army, they are going right back in to fight. So, if this war is so bad, don't you think people would want out, not in?

Can you tell me why I should not be outraged to find out that my son and his fellow military personnel are receiving the lowest 2.2 percent pay raise for their efforts in Iraq, and yet the grand ol' body in Congress passes a hidden expense of $20 million for a 2007 Victory party for the successes in Afghanistan and Iraq? How do people feel about this and what should be done?

Is this actualy needed? I am not talking about the immediate economic impacts, I mean the long term ones.
I admit, marriage adds stability to a family, a nest egg. but say marriage never existed, I believe that there would have been established other means of stability, because a family is a family, and some sort of family institution is unavoidable.
With that idea, I want to find out your opinion, what ways is marriage a deterent to economic growth, and what ways does it encourage it, and your opionion as a whole.
I want you to stretch your minds, give me the most comprehensive answer possible, simple, not complicated, and please dont try to be sassy with me, this is a quality question, I want quality in return.
