What do you have to say for yourselves? And, are Democrats any better, I ask you? What is there left to vote for? Libertarians can't win elections. It looks like we're stuck without any good, electable choices. And, one might ask, with Diebold electronic voting machines being used in many areas (even in my own state), what's the point of voting anymore, anyway? Is the American dream dead at last, killed by the unworthy citizens who inherited it?

And if you do are you like me and wonder why this is over population in the prisons. I mean if someone gets the death sentence shouldn't we just carry it out? If this were done wouldn't there be less overcrowding in the prison system?
Especially if the inmate is a murderer, I think eye for an eye. What is the hold up and why is there a death row, does it take that long to put someone to death?

The American government is interfering in other countries internal affairs, they want every body to be a copy of the American, delete any other identity, have no respect for differences, and have no faith that other can manage their lives as they want. So this will reflect in more terrorism because people in other countries will feel slaved and controlled by the USA government.
If the USA government want democracy and peace , why do think the whole world start to hate the government?
Many other countries have democracy but no one hate them, France , Germany, …and many others.

Don't you think that it would be a good thing to add that 20 million base (illegal alien estimate) to pay into the system? Here in Europe, we've come to terms with the fact that our population is greying and fast. WIthout the new immigrants to pay into the system, it will collapse. Why such hostility then to newcomers?

Seems like we have to choose because our Consitution is slowly fading away. A North American Union will only increase the rate at which this occurs. Our fore fathers would be very upset with our so called leadership today, giving up freedom for a false sense of security. We need to wake up fast.

I went to BBC News online (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/5402756.stm) and they have a column that reported in the text that "various charities associated with militant groups also responded [to the Pakistani earthquake]"

Yeah right, so I know that the UN charity organization was down there too...but what maks me unnerving about this, is that the newscaster also reports/claims that these Muslim militant groups and their funding have tried to brainwash the poor victims of the earthquake into their militant camps!!!

What is the world coming to!! I have an Indian co-worker and he knows first hand of this country, he says they have hostile relations...Then I read another bit of news and Amnesty International is accusing Pakistan of cashing in on the war on terror for the US....

Man you gotta love Bob Woodward! His street cred is established, even vis a vis this very administration. He can't be counted as a critic with an agenda, and he reveals the real deal.

Does anyone see a problem with Condi forgetting a warning that the CIA officer Woodward interviews says he recalls as 'the starkest' warning they had given the WH to date?

Anyone see a problem with Ashcroft saying he'd wished he been told about an imminent threat of attack with 'great consequences to government and many casualties'?

Does it sound like another instance of a 'doing a heck of a job' crap, blowing off serious need to get off collective behinds and do something?
A bad time for Condi to have 'responded' to the Clinton comments for instance with "we were not given comprehensive plans to deal with terrorism; for instance, they left us no viable plan for dealing with Pakistan"!?
Did they also need a comprehensive plan for how to respond to intelligence saying WATCH OUT NOW!?
