No it sucks like the rest of the Country everything is deceptive & the consumer will lose everytime while doctors work the system for maximum profits consumers PAY forever! Anything thats accessable to the uninsured would be like a street rat walking up to the science/labortory department & saying here i am have you way with me! FREE honest to goodness healthcare for all would be Great and long has it been sought after but shut down in congress everytime shame on them!

No, not really. I'm not sure I'd like a socialized system, though. Mexico has a socialized system and a friend of mine told me that he would never even consider going to one of the clinics. He said, and it makes sense, that the worst or least experienced doctors work in the clinics. I wouldn't want that. However, it may be different elsewhere. I recently saw where fertility treatments and medications are covered as well as everything else. For just two cycles last spring, we paid $3000 out of pocket!

the only element I would desire to evaluate it to is a few pal in Canada. For them, severe procedures are dealt with quicker than right here (interior the U.S.), yet for different products, there's an prolonged wait. between the vast subject concerns I even have with public healthcare is that the persons who're working are those procuring the persons who're not working. If there's a valid reason those each and every physique isn't working, then it is wonderful. yet too many each and every physique is scamming the gadget and attempting to get some thing for not something. those are the only's that don't deserve unfastened healthcare.

PROBLEM: If the U.S. went to a socialized structure, we'd be stuck with it. And one thing our Federal Government is VERY good at is miring even the simplest things in red tape. Actually, al I have to do is talk to my aunt who lives in Windsor, Ontario to hear how socialized medicine DOESN'T work in Canada. For starters, your coverage is only good in your province, so if you live in Alberta and go to Quebec you won't be covered if you have to see the doctor. Secondly, Windsor Memorial Hospital has an MRI unit that runs 24/7, and the current wait time to get an MRI is 8-10 weeks (and you may have to go in at 3:00 a.m.). Finally, my aunt asked her doctor to give her a referral for a colonoscopy because she just turned 50, and she was told she couldn't have one. Would you believe they won't authorize that procedure unless you're showing signs of colon cancer? By the time you start showing signs IT'S TOO LATE!!! Oh, did I mention the huge number of Canadians who come to the U.S. to buy their prescription drugs because they're cheaper here, in the country that supposedly has the worst health care system in the civilized world?!?!!

I am not happy with our current health care system. However I am not so sure about the socialized system. I am told by people that have been on that system that it is harder to get in to see the Doctor and that often times diseases are put "on hold" with treatment because there are not enough hours in the day to see all the patients.

Im not happy with it. We can't afford health insurance. My husband works his butt off so I can be a stay at home mom and we just can't afford the cost of insurance vs. paying out of pocket.
It really puts us in a bind when we get sick or if for some reason needed to go to the hospital, but the cost of paying out of pocket each year is cheaper for us then paying for insurance.
It's a lose-lose situation for us.

US has the best system. I know so. I have traveled and worked all over the world. Only problem is that it does not help the poor that well.
