This is a serious question. I'm not trying to put anyone down. This is my real world experience, and I would like to know what others experience.

In my experience, I've found that people who consider themselves Republicans do not like to talk about politics. I'm not talking about trying to incite a debate with someone. When something political comes up in covernsation, whether I'm participating or just overhear it, I've noticed that they usually do not know much about the issue (and I say this because they just talk about who they like, and do not talk about anything deeper - like what they like about that person or their views); and if they find out that someone does not support Bush, then they just say "I'm not going to talk about this. Let's not talk about politics." These are the same people that talked freely about politics when Clinton was President. Has anyone else noticed this? If so, do you have any idea why this is the case?

If it was a crime or something shouldn't they be in the Witness protection program? If they were in that program, would they still be allowed to come knocking on your door? What if you recognized them?

If the majority of people are poor, can't get medical care, the world hates our country, and the environment is being degraded, what good will money do you? While the Democrats are no shining example of leadership either, my new perspective from my U.S. history class (which focuses on each president and what they accomplished or botched) has proven to me that Republicans have policies that only serve a tiny % of the country. How is that fair?

On T.V last night they had shown this documentry about anti semitism in the world. I could not believe that the whole middle east hates the jew, I mean every single person, actualy l can believe it. But there is reason why they all hate the jews, is because they are trying to take over the world. The jews have a book called ''the elders of zion'' which tells there objectives and every thing that is going on in the world now is in that book. Even all the arab nations and the muslim nation came together for a conference to dicuss this. It can't be a theory if this happened. The program showed a cartoon of a jew with Bush as a puppet and the UN as bush's puppet. This program was not false, they would not show any false misleading anti semitic program in Australia.

i've got some news for some people: an obscure historical fact IS NOT a conspiricy theory... for example- if i were to say something like, "In the 1950s, the CIA launched a mind-control research program called MK-Ultra that included testing the effects of LSD and it's possible uses in the field of mind-control, and alteration of brain-wave function on individuals wo did not know that they were involved in the project." then gave you a credible source- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_MKULTRA. : THAT IS NOT A CONSPIRICY THEORY. A conspiricy theory includes weaving a number of different facts, such as this together, in order to support a theory that suggests that the official version of a particular event is not accurate, and that there was and actual conspiricy involved.

why are people so quick to label someone as a "conspiricy theory whack-job", just because that person happens to be aware of an obscure piece of historical information that person calling them a whackjob isn't?

2 kidnapped soldiers= 800 dead Lebanese (and counting)

So each Israeli is worth about 400 Lebanese people, though that will rise. That's not even counting the thousands of Palestinains that Israel has killed. And Israel is the victim here? Ha!!!!!!!

And no, Lebanon did not start this. This is a plan by the U.S. and Israel so they can say this was really done by Syria and Iran. The soldiers were kidnapped with the help of the Israeli government.

So then the U.S. will attack Iran and Israel will attack Syria and is attacking Lebanon. This plan has been around for a while and is designed to stall Peak Oil by a few years and also to block China and India's access to oil.

Even Bush isn't that stupid! He knows the Israelis too well. They shoot at and kill anything that moves, and then 'apologise for the terrible mistake' afterwards. (with the ever present 'crocodile tears'.)

moment? If you read a letter from a soldier telling you how wrong he feels about his orders to protect an oil company executive in Iraq would you believe him? Or would you call that soldier a commie canadian "fa gg ot" for not accepting the reasons for this war to be WMD? Why would you believe he and thousands of his fellow servicemen/women would lie about what they see in the streets of Bagdad? Please back up your reasons for believing or not.

what part did Iraq play in 911? If not, what is the war in Iraq intended to accomplish? In spite of all the reading I've done (or maybe because of it) I really don't understand what we are doing in Iraq.

I read in the paper yesterday that 50% of Americans today believe there were WMD and that's up from 36% who believed they existed in 2004. I think it's odd that more people believe that today than in 2004 since none have been found. My son thinks if they existed, they were taken to Syria.

I've heard the extreme right wing call liberals fascists on the radio talk show and have read that in the blogs and here on Yahoo Q and A. So I looked it up on "Wikipedia" and it say fascists are anti- liberal. Now I am confused, is the skillet calling the kettle black?
