2 kidnapped soldiers= 800 dead Lebanese (and counting)

So each Israeli is worth about 400 Lebanese people, though that will rise. That's not even counting the thousands of Palestinains that Israel has killed. And Israel is the victim here? Ha!!!!!!!

And no, Lebanon did not start this. This is a plan by the U.S. and Israel so they can say this was really done by Syria and Iran. The soldiers were kidnapped with the help of the Israeli government.

So then the U.S. will attack Iran and Israel will attack Syria and is attacking Lebanon. This plan has been around for a while and is designed to stall Peak Oil by a few years and also to block China and India's access to oil.

The life of a Jew is worth as much as the life of anyone else but somehow they live under the ILLUSION (because it really is only an illusion) that their lives are worth more than everyone else's. If what you say is right and it would not surprise me in the least that it is, then we are all doomed including them... perhaps we are getting closer to our own extinction as a species and will eventually hand over the planet to the insects or reptiles... because we will not be here for much longer. When we can kill children by the hundreds as is happening in Lebanon and elsewhere in the region and call it political expediency,... when we can do all that to innocent children and merely seek a resolution without having any urgency in stopping the killing, I hope we will all disappear off the face of this planet because we do not deserve to be here. This place was paradise when the dinosaurs ruled this planet. We are the worst "cancer" planet Earth has had to endure. We fire missiles from F16s at our own children without blinking... with pollution we are killing the atmosphere and refuse to enter into proper agreements with other nations to reduce pollution... Well... let's hope we do not get the Nature's punishment we deserve. When Nature has had enough of a species, Natures makes it extinct !!! Are we next ? Dinosaurs are aready gone !!
I would like to comment on what "Marty K" has said with a question for him "WHY IS EVERYONE AGAINST ISRAEL !" Just about every country in the region is "against Israel". What is it that makes every country dislike Israel !??? Are we becoming silly here ??? Can't we continue to QUESTION the whole issue instead of stopping just short of the whole issue ???? Do we really believe that every country in the region are villains but Israel is the innocent party, every time ? If Hezbollah is attacking Israel, WHY are they doing that ? It is sad that people no longer believe anything politicians say !!! I strongly suspect that the UN resolution coming out of the UN at the moment about Lebanon and Israel is to be used as an excuse for the USA to attack Lebanon as it happened to Iraq. You know, UN resolution imposing impossible conditions for Lebanon to comply, conditions that we all know beforehand that Lebanon will never accept,... and military force will inevitably be used then. Well, that is my opinion !!!

Yeah it is really obvious that a few Israeli prisoners are not the cause of anything. Israel tried to take after America by lying to their citizens as a means to go to war, but they did it half assed and don't seem to care about the transparency of the reason. At least America TRIES to back stuff up, like with WMD and stuff they were fighting for that for awhile. I don't think members of the Israeli government even remember those soldeirs' names. It's like they said 'Uh... I think we got a few people held by Lebanese OMGLETSGOATTACKATTACKATTACK'. I wouldn't be surprised if the soldiers are in some secret Israeli bunker livng well, or were killed a long time ago and had their records changes so they could be the perfect unfindable hostages. If the rationale for the invasion of Iraq smelled funny, this one has landfills and federal garbage dumps aspiring to the aroma. OK so does America too, but at least the Americans are making an effort to hide it - spraying some summer breeze crap around, the Israelis are just holding their nose and tell each other that their **** don't stink.

Every life is priceless! An Israeli's life is worth no more than a Lebanese life or anyone else for that matter. Unfortunately, to Israel and the USA most of us are just a number... This is a game... A numbers game... Israel and the USA have lost sight of what is truly important here and that is 'Peace and Tranquility'.

You don't understand this. In the first place, the kidnappings are only what started it, but Hezbollah (WHOM YOU FAILED TO MENTION AT ALL) is seeking to annihilate Israel and are indiscriminately sending rockets into their land loaded with nails and iron to purposely kill men, women and children civilians.

Then, Hezbollah hides among civilians, and fires rockets from their homes, and moves the rocket launchers into their homes afterwards. They are setting them up to be killed, using them as human shields.

No, "Lebanon" did not start this, but you don't even know that Israel is fighing against Hezbollah that has infested Lebanon, and not agiainst the Lebanese people.

And Syria and Iran are behind it, it's some "plan."

Israel is not only fighting for the 2 kidnapped Israeli soldiers but for freedom from future attacks from all terrorist groups. They want to live in peace, so much so, that they always abide by UN Council resolutions to withdraw from occupied lands for the sake of peace. (Remember that the wars that led to occupation by Israeli on such Arab lands were started by the Arabs themselves). What future will Israel have if they just let the terrorist raid their country, kill its citizens and kidnap the soldiers? In the first place if all the Arab countries abide by UN Council resolutions, peace will ultimately reign in the Middle East (at least between Arabs and Israel).

You don´t count the israeli civilians killed before this by sucide bombers sent by the hezbollah and hamas terorist, two terorist groups who have been sending sucide bombers all over israel killing civilians without there being a war. And now you think it´s Israel fault. He did no start or even declared the war. And it´s not israels fault that the cowards of hezbollah are hiding in civilian populated places.
And i´m proud of my country for soporting Israel. Only cowards support and defend Hezbollah.

Your words:

Are there two United Nations? Where is the one that Israel is so obedient to?

I don't know about the Israeli govt. helping plan the kidnapping, but I certainly see our involvement in the middle east as a result of peak oil.

dark Al, i admire your address this and that i agree wholeheartedly along with your perspectives. It doesnt make experience yet once you communicate the reality that Hamas and others who proportion the comparable mentality have little sanctity of life (properly different than their own because of the fact I dont see any of the leaders strapping bombs onto themselves do you?) they dont care. Hamas is in there in basic terms to make a element and that they justify it by applying announcing lives could be sacrificed, harmless human beings or no longer. they seem to be a terrorist team who're singleminded (ignorant too) yet thats yet another element hellbent on reaching their objectives. sure its a comedian tale.
