Because you know that Israel was established after WW2 as a country in a place that had been lived in and called home by members of the Islamic brotherhood known as Palestinians even though there never was an official country by the name of Palestine in the modern era Palestinians and Jews had lived in that area for generations....the establishment of Israel as a nation is really the main thing ever accomplished by the UN .Of course it is a big fulfillment of prophesy for them to return to that land....that land which is considered Holy land by both religions and so it has even more meaning to both .It is also the place that the "mother of all wars" armagheddon or jihad -Holy War- is connected to...The question of why many people throughout many times have wanted to destroy Jews regardless of what country they are in is an interesting one for study...and that they not only survive ,but yet prosper at whatever they put their hand to.... It's interesting Are you aware of how much agricultural produce is exported out of that tiny desert nation and that it was not even an agriculturally developed area before?God's chosen people what an idea....would that title alone incite others to hatred?

Israel is the common enemy which brings the Islamic world together. In that coming together, emotions can be used to make the people commit to full effort to destroy Israel. As the people come together, the different versions of Islam will use that emotional commitment for one version of Islam to predominate over the other versions of Islam. Israel is only and excuse to build up bloody violence to become the major Islam.

It is a feeling for each other that is over 4000 years old. The Jews, being God's chosen people have always been the target of non-Hebrew (Jew) culture. They feel they do not belong on this earth. No one has actually taken the time to find a common ground with each other. Both sides think the other hates them and I don't even think either of them know's why they hate each other.
It's like if Joe was to say to his friend Bob, "I don't like Alex. He's a jerk". Bob would think Alex was a jerk, even if he hadn't met him yet.
They hate each other because the other person hates them (if that doesn't make sense, read it again).
Not to mention the media really candy-coats these types of stories. If there was no conflict, what would they report on? Good things?
