He was saying that "conservative opinion shows" were a counterbalance to the "liberal media"...

but one is almost pure opinion, while the other is actual news?

is this where conservatives are now? they believe one man's opinion over he facts of pictures, quotes and studies?

now granted... all conservatives are not like this... but I found it to be an odd statement... if you're taking someone's opinion over facts... then you could be convinced of anything...

and "facts and studies" can of course be skewed, but if you're looking at several different sources on different studies... shouldn't you believe that over opinion?

It seems like some conservatives take "opinion shows" as indisputable fact... even if the opinion show doesn't support it's own arguements... and then they call everyone else that doesn't agree with them "naive" even though they have no facts to back up their opinion...

(There wouldn't be enough room up there), so I will write it down here. I am wondering if anyone can point me to a book that is based on the theory that the Zionist political movement caused the fundamentalist Islamist political movement.

A believer in the theory might argue that modern "Islamic" terrorism wouldn't exist today if Israel hadn't been established by the Zionists in "Palestine".

Now, the last thing I am looking for is an attack on me proposing otherwise; I do not necessarily agree with this theory. I always just like to hear good arguments from multiple sides of any situation.

At the level it needs to if it wants to win the war in Iraq and preserve the military to be ready for future threats.
So what is the state of our military ?
The US National Guard is " $ 23 bullion in the hole after 5 yr of war and nationaldisasters .
The Army alone needs $ 17.1billion for it's force in 2007 and a annual yearly bill of $12billionor more for two to threeyears after the Iraq war ends to reconstitute it's equipment back to fighting form .
And has Congress provided anything remotely closeto the necessary funding. Why ?

I haven't followed Miller for a long, long time, but I seem to remember he had more of a liberal slant when he did his comedy bit with SNL long ago. And now he's going to Fox News as a conservative?

I've been sleeping, I guess, but when did he change political affiliations?

This country is in a crucial time right now. You might feel comfortable and unthreatened, but this will not last long if you keep showing so much apathy about the direction you nation is heading in. Other nations see this and they see that the majority of our nations decisions are made by the people in office, because the citizens just don't care. This is going to get us into serious trouble. Our forefathers walked barefoot on frozen earth to fight for what we have today. They left a trail of blood as they went from battlefield to battlefield fighting the British. How many of you would go through that today? We are weak and stupid. Take an interest in what your children and grandchildren will face in their times. WAKE UP PEOPLE!! What does it take to get you to care about the future?

I find it odd that some Americans don't care what the rest of the world thinks of them. They don't care that the USA has an image problem and that so many people hate them. Why is this? Is it because the USA is the most powerful country in the world so who cares or is it simply because Americans are unaware of things outside of their country and when they here someone say something negative they just think it's because they are jealous?
