This country is in a crucial time right now. You might feel comfortable and unthreatened, but this will not last long if you keep showing so much apathy about the direction you nation is heading in. Other nations see this and they see that the majority of our nations decisions are made by the people in office, because the citizens just don't care. This is going to get us into serious trouble. Our forefathers walked barefoot on frozen earth to fight for what we have today. They left a trail of blood as they went from battlefield to battlefield fighting the British. How many of you would go through that today? We are weak and stupid. Take an interest in what your children and grandchildren will face in their times. WAKE UP PEOPLE!! What does it take to get you to care about the future?

I agree with you!! This country, its leadership anyway, lies, cheats, abuses its power and people STILL follow these idiots....what do you have to do??? We are not alone in this world, our actions affect everyone else all over, I think we do get a bad wrap sometimes, but we have to stop being the cowboy, consequences be damned, nose thumbing country we have become or the rest of the world will turn its back, and we CANNOT do it alone..........

Peoples lives have become too comfortable and easy in the west, many of them do not even know what life is and spend the whole time in pursuit of artificial goals.

people care, i care maybe just not as strong as you do. what keeps me going is reading the bible it helps alot you sort of forget about whats going on in the world and meditate on the future God has in stock for us
