We must already the most highly taxed nation on earth so instead of the government scheming to make us pay even more why not save them the trouble & all work for no pay...... no pay = no tax and provide everything free! Free food, free housing, free beer, free medical treatment, free holidays ...... sounds good to me.....anybody else fancy it?

Probably the most highly taxed nation on earth is Sweden at 70%. Second of all if people did not get paid why on earth would they work in the first place? If they get all this stuff free what is the point of trying at all. Your idea is a great idea but it would not work because no one would work.

The government always ends up with all your money anyway.
They just calculate the speed at which it ends up in their coffers.
Example:
£1
Income tax 25p.
75p remaining
N.I.C. 10p
65p remaining
Buy some petrol 30p (Tha'ts a guess. Probably an understimate)
35p Remaining fo the fule company.
Tax on fuel company profit (10p)
25p remaining
Company pays employee (Here we go again)
25p
Income tax 7p.
18p remaining
N.I.C. 2p
16p remaining
Buy some petrol 7p (Tha'ts a guess. Probably an understimate)
9p Remaining fo the fule company.
Tax on fuel company profit (3p)
6p
Company pays employee (Here we go again)

and so on.
As you see, it takes about 3-5 cycles for the government to take all the money back. So it is 100% really. We should measure it in cycles, but they probably wouldn't like that eh?

YEAH! That's great! .... In a perfect world. :( Sadly we're not a perfect world and someone would get greedy... and then THEY'D get all our free holidays. And probably take your lovely flat in Spain for themselves as a government benifit.
Other than that, it's a great idea! I'd never work again! Why should I? Everything is free!

We are not the most highly taxed nation, and infact of the 8 largest economies in the world, the US citizens pay the least amount of their income in taxes.

Brilliant Idea, I've thought it myself many times, everyone could just do thier part for each community, it would eradicate lots of crime and poverty and the needs for pointless boring jobs like call centres for loan or credit companies, yipeee. Hope I see the day it becomes reality, and worldwide.

it's pretty much like that now if you don't work you get it all for free if you work then you get f@ck all the welfare state was set up for those who can't work not for those who won't work if you steal ,rob old ladies then you get a week on safari if you defend your home from these mindless b@st@rds then you get a life sentence any one want to fight back and show these assh@les that we mean business?get in touch
