Since as individuals we have the right to our own personal moral, conscience, and religious rights, should we not sue the government for forcing laws on us without regard for individual freedoms?
As long as we do not violate anothers rights to life, liberty, or happiness, we should be able to whatever we want, when we want.
If laws are forced upon us, ie.. seatbelt, helmet, insurance, going through red lights at 3am, etc...before any public crisis is established, is that not a case of vioaltion of personal freedom?

Today's Presidential veto of federal funding for embryonic stem cell research is based on relious beliefs regarding the definition of 'life'

There are no laws that define life as beginning at conception - and the current legal status of abortion would seem to suggest that, legally, it does not. Should a President make decisions based on personal faith? does this affect his ability to represent the entire American public?

One good answer from all the people that disagree with Bush's veto. The questioner's agreeing answerers simply give insults. Is that the best they can do? ONE FREAKING GOOD ANSWER? Now scroll down the list and look at the people who agree with Bush's veto, and how they explain their arguement. Can you Libs please come up with better arguements than simple insults? I'm so tired of it.

WASHINGTON - President Bush cast the first veto of his 5 1/2-year presidency Wednesday, saying legislation easing limits on federal funding for embryonic stem cell research "crosses a moral boundary" and is wrong. "This bill would support the taking of innocent human life in the hope of finding medical benefits for others,"

Where is the taking of a human life. Is a sperm cell life?

How can your "Moral Boundry" be to let someone living suffer and die a painful death for a lack of a cure brought about by being allowed to growing cells in a Petri dish?

These are cells that have no markers on them and has the potential to grow as any cell in the body, possibly even brain cells!

Bush said it "crosses a moral boundary"! He has 2,781 dead in Iraq over oil and has preformed more executions than anyone in modern day history!!!!

I have never seen a supportive article on the Yahoo News frontpage for a conservative cause of conservative politician. Have other moderates or conservatives noticed this? Does Yahoo want to alienate its less liberal users? Or, in Yahoo's defense, is it just the liberal news services?

Apparrently residents of Yakima Valley, WA are upset that Mexicans are affecting the learning abilities of the "Americans" because, they don't speak good English. Wow, since when is learning another language a stumbling block to learning in general? Then you have the people who own farms , who also happen to rely on the labor, saying that the agriculture industry in the area would severely suffer if all the workers were deported. I wonder if people think about this stuff before opening their mouths?

So I in a way I was cut off from the Matrix thee American way I found the one true God his name is Allah i dont support America and how they kill innocent muslims and Israel how they drop bombs on children and say they were terrorist america and Israel are bullies they always fight weaker countrys they never go after real countrys like Pakistan,Iran,Syria, North korea why is that cause america is weak. How is a country like Israel going to fight a country that has no army and christians and jews say that muslim are terrorist America wake and smell the roses the real terrorist are the Americans and the Jews MAY ALLAH HAVE MERCY ON THERE SOULS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
