that's just it... conservatives talk without knowing what they are talking about... and then, they hate "flip-floppers"... so they are stuck there... hahaha..

It's funny, he thinks using the embryo is murder so no federal funds for research. But yet he doesn't make all stem cell research using embryos against the law. So private for profit companies can commit murder(by bush's reasoning) as long as they don't use federal funds. Go figure

I'm afraid our Great Leader, who dubs himself "The Decider", knows very little about how the world really works, yet is convinced he knows it all. He seems to be wholeheartedly against science, and is therefore making his decisions from a position of profound ignorance. This decision alone will cost the lives of millions of people whose cures will be delayed or denied, while saving not a single embryo from destruction.

Yes I am sure he does. but he realizes they will not be TESTED upon. Also this is a ban on fed funds, there is no ban on private funds going to this process. If this is such an amazing wonder then where are all the private investors?

Doesn't matter...he's got to play to his alleged power-base. If he leaves the Republican party the way it is now, the good ol' boys might lose control. Everything else is irrelevant compared with keeping those guys in power. He'll say anything to keep it up.

hes ignorant..... he probably didnt think to tell one of his slaves to look up the facts before he vetoed the bill.... he will need to utilize the research someday and he will regret that he turned it down

probably not, he probably deosn't understand stem cell research and the promise it holds or else he wouldn't have vetoed the bill.
