Since as individuals we have the right to our own personal moral, conscience, and religious rights, should we not sue the government for forcing laws on us without regard for individual freedoms?
As long as we do not violate anothers rights to life, liberty, or happiness, we should be able to whatever we want, when we want.
If laws are forced upon us, ie.. seatbelt, helmet, insurance, going through red lights at 3am, etc...before any public crisis is established, is that not a case of vioaltion of personal freedom?

The answer to your question about law violating rights is a resounding YES. Your query about bringing a Tort suit shows your naivete. A tort is not a crime, it is bascially considered a moral wrong - which is of course why the government wants to be sued with torts - there is no criminal liability.

Unfortunately, due to the doctrine of sovereign immunity, in most cases, the government cannot be sued - but that is not always the case.

And just out of curiosity, on what grounds will you sue - tort or otherwise? If on the basis of constitutional violations, you would never get heard before the Supreme Court, simply because they pick and choose what cases they want to hear. These days, they only hear constitutional issues that the court can see a way to interpret the destruction of the document (the Constitution) in another social engineering experiment that is leading this nation down the road to communism or socialism (all the same, really).
