According to President Bush, Israel has the right to defend itself..Are there any american laws for Libanon to defend itself?

American laws have nothing to do with Isreal or Lebanon defending themselves.

If Lebanon can't stop Hezzbolah then someone has to in order to defend Israel. If not Israel then who? Or would you prefer that Israel just set back and be attacked without defending itself....This is stupid.

"Lebanon" isn't being attacked. Hezbollah is being attacked. The same group that has been firing rockets into Israel for some time, the same group that tried tunneling into Israel, and the same group that kidnapped an Israeli soldier unprovoked. Lebanon does nothing to prevent attacks on Israel from Hezbollah. Don't waste your sympathy on them. They have no one to blame but themselves.

that's a dumb question. Of course the lebanese have rights.
But good luck with that-- their military can't do anything to Israel. That's why hezbollah is doing the dirty work.

all countries have the right to defend themselves...but Lebanon..well, really Hezbollah attacked first.... and just because you have the right to try and defend yourself doesn't mean you can win... winners get to write the histories and the rules...losers get to die
