It seems to me that if we take out that region, we will just have peace.

If we just take the example of WWII and occupation of the Europe, still after 60 years and in spite of the cold war is over, US did not leave Europe. At this time, we are in central Asia (Afghanistan) and in all over middle east and US will expand more into this region. The best way they do it is religion & ethnicity conflicts. See what we have done to India (made 3 countries out of it) and Soviet Union (made it close to nothing).

By looking at the Anglo Saxon involvement in the 3rd world specifically in Middle East, it is highly possible that British and US Gov. have purchased these weapons form Iran through 3rd party and now they are distributing between the "INSURGENTS" who I think they are also paid by the US to do this. This will provide evidence of "IRANIAN GOV." involvement and give an excuse to the US to attack Iran. Just remember, the whole concept for the ANGLO SAXON is "DIVIDE & CONQUORE". Nobody can trust them. They could stab you from all angles.

Its obviously going to happen; and w/ Iran and America's relations going as far down the sh!ter as possible, is it just a matter of time? How much time?

When you look at it, either Bush will find a way to attack Iran (Not bad mouthing him, America needs to attack), or the Israeli President will and America will come in to help Israel against Iran. Now Iran vs America and (and Britain will join right along w/ the US), not much of a war on Iran's side because it wouldnt be like Iraq; It'd be kill them and leave, not all this occupation sh!t. But who would come in for Iran?

The only possible MAJOR threats are China and Russia w/ N Korea and the Middle East as smaller threats. Like China's said, the US owes them too much money to wage war against them. But who ,in modern time, would have the balls to step up and fight w/ the Iranians against 3 militarial superpowers?

I heard on NPR that Iraqis have to get new visas. That the ones that they already have a no good. Getting new visas would mean take a dangerous trip to Baghdad to get the new ones.

Why aren't the current visas good enough? What purpose would it make?

I heard someone say that Russia is a superpower as much as the USA is.... I've also heard people say that Russia isn't a superpower but it is an emerging one ( I doubt this; they mey have the military capacity but their economy is no where near superpower status)...what do you all think?thanks....

I served my country in the Army for 9 and 1/2 years and the choice of restauraunts was always the same, Anthony's pizza, burger king or the NCO club. Why is that? Can't they give us soldiers past and present a bit more variety? How do you feel about it?

I enlisted in the Marines, but Army is probably around the same w/ these topics.

-How long is the Machine Gunners Course at the School of Infantry?
-Whats the difference between a pull up and a "dead pull up"?
-This one might just sound plain stupid but when you have to do crunches; do they mean like situps or when your on your back w/ knees curled up and just kind of raise your head and kiss your knee?
-And to my knowledge, the Machine Gunners use the 40mm, 50 Cal, and 7.62 along w/ other stuff but those are the main ones. What gun do you see most Machine Gunners using in Iraq?

----
As you probably noticed I havnt ENLISTED, but Im in the Delayed Program for when I get out of high school this year. Thanks for the help.

I’ve signed up for the Army and I’m going to Basic training in Fort Jackson next couple of weeks. I’m really nervous and I don’t know what to expect. Can anyone tell me what I can expect during the first 2 weeks of Basic Training? Is it really bad? Will I get smoked a lot?

Also, Isn’t there like a reception I have to go to first prior to basic training? What do you do there and what was that like? And are people nice to you?

All liberals and outspoken democrats have an anti-Bush, anti- American agenda. That is a fact (whether they know it or not)... Do you really believe the liberals are all about saving the lives of the mostly republican armed forces ?....Or are they all about defeating Bush, republicans, conservatism, and gaining more power in Washington ? What do you think ?

Alright so since Middle School both my parents knew I wanted to go into the Military; but thought I would go through college in ROTC or NROTC or something along those lines. My mom is totally against anything to do w/ me in the Military, but my dad's view on it is; if it gives me a civilian equivelant skill then he'd support me.

Im a Junior in High School and am about to go into the DEP (Delayed Entry, so I go to Boot and AIT after I graduate). Im enlisting in the Marines as Machine Gunner (0351). I dont need my parents permission, but their support; Im doing it either way. But how do I get them on my side?

I see this question has been asked before but after hearing that a pensioner was robbed by a group of teenagers and a 5 year old child,I realy believe that something should be done to teach the youth of today a little respect.
