All liberals and outspoken democrats have an anti-Bush, anti- American agenda. That is a fact (whether they know it or not)... Do you really believe the liberals are all about saving the lives of the mostly republican armed forces ?....Or are they all about defeating Bush, republicans, conservatism, and gaining more power in Washington ? What do you think ?

pca,,, once upon a time in a far away nation called snoobville there was a leader who upon hearing that several score of fellow snoobs were taken hostage by radical droobs inside the republic of droobville ,did nothing for 4 years but ask the radical droobs to return our fellow snoobs once a week.he sent an airplane with a few snoob soldiers with light arms so as not to anger the droobs too much.alas the effort to rescue our snoob brothers was a failure, resulting in the deaths of our brave and sacrificing snoobs ,ay the end of 4 years, our beloved snoobs were still being held by the radical droobs, and the leader decided to retire,a new leader took office and told the radical droobs that they would get converted into a parking facility unless the beloved snoobs were returned right away.and so the snoobs were put on a snoobtransport right away and all were back home safe in snoobville. a liberal does not see differences between snoobs and droobs .he does not determine correctly the source of hostility; will neither protect the victim nor see necessary to restrain the aggressor.a careful ,unhurried if qualified success in iraq must occur ,whether we have a centrist republicrat or a mccainacrat. otherwise we pick up ,go home & these buzzards will follow us.any connection among stories of droobs , snoobs & reality of events in tehran in 1979 is pretty much close to the truth

Any statement that starts with "all" liberals is useless. Thoughtful people, whether Republican or Democrat, look at issues individually. Your "fact" is not a fact at all. The most recent death in my community in Iraq was a Democrat Native American. The military is not "mostly Republican", both Democrats and Republicans have enlisted as both acts as patriotism and for educational reasons. What if I'm against illegal immigration but think a border fence is a silly idea? Am I liberal or conservative? What if I think the war in Iraq was justified because Saddam wouldn't let the U.N. inspectors stay--but now feel we won when he was deposed and his weapons destroyed and should now leave? That's a conservative and liberal view on 2 aspects of the same issue. I don't think an anti-Bush agenda is justified for the Democrats. Pres. Bush acted on the information he had at the time and if Saddam did not have nuclear weapons, he would have developed them. Also, a lot of Democrats voted for this war and I think it's pathetic to try to explain away that vote now. On the other hand, it is not anti-American to think our job is done and we should leave. If you can convince me we can solve the disputes between the Sunnis, Shiites and Kurds, then you can convince me we should stay for a while. But even you must admit there is a point of diminishing returns when we must tell the Iraqis they have to govern themselves.

*sigh* here we go about liberals vs. conservative... if you ask my husband he doesnt give a **** if you're one or the other. I love how people thinik that republicans "choose" to be in Iraq. Yeah, sure...my husband wants to stay 7,000 miles away from home and be sickfor 90% of his stay. Also, I love how liberals think only republicans are in the military...

Back to the question tho... I think it doesnt matter who you are or what political party you are in... just support the men/women and their familys who fight for your freedom and would die for this country. If I see any person say "they dont fight for me, my country isnt one that kills innocnet civilias" I will say then get the hell right, and if our military killed innocent civilians you would be dead already.

Plain and simple, Bush is my husband's Commander and Cheif, and he will never speak out aginst that because he cant. I have never seen anyone with more honor then the men and women I come across every day... so SUPPORT OUR TROOPS

Number one you have your facts wrong! Most of the men in the military are not Republicans. some who I know or knew were Democrats. They were liberals as most of the troups are.
No one whether Republican or Democrat wants to see our young men dieing. Non of those men were anti-American and I resent you saying that they are. They paid the ultimate sacrifice.
Why don't you enlist?
It is supriseing to me the ones with the biggest mouths never enlist. But put down the ones who do.
This is not about defeating Bush or anyone else. This is about making peace in the gulf. Everyone is trying to figure out a way to do that and it is just about time everyone work together instead of blameing one group for the failures of everyone.
All that does is divide the country. Your question is stupid.

Republicans used to believe that America can't act as a policeman to the world. They used to use the term "nation-building" derisively, arguing that our troops belong at home protecting the homeland. Republicans also used to stand for small government. And individual privacy. Republicans in the Reagan years used to argue that the federal government is the problem, not the solution. Republicans have taken a complete 180 (which is when I became Libertarian), based pretty much on the idea of acquiring power and keeping it, regardless of any philosophy. Liberals are just as bad. HOWEVER - realize that Bush IS federal government run amok: huge spending, huge deficits, using our own troops to nation-build overseas, doctoring intelligence to support war, its bad and getting worse. So, the answer to your questions is simply what all politicians do: It gets them money and power.

Maybe for the same reason they never mention the fact that many more military personnel were killed during Clinton's reign than during Bush's Presidency.

Here's a great idea for you. Let the kids claiming to be Republicans stay in Iraq until they win and bring the rest of them home. Face it, Bush and the GOP have already been defeated and the voters who once voted the Republicans in have seen the error in their ways and have voted against Iraq and Republican corruption.

"Liberals" hate George Bush because he has nearly destroyed our beloved country. How DARE you say that liberals are anti-American. We actually BELIEVE in what our constitution stands for and we will not stop until the criminals in the White House are held accountable for what they have done. I'm not talking about making mistakes. I'm talking about dead American citizens, treason, war profiteering, outing an undercover agent, doctoring scientific reports to appease big business...I could go on.

"Mostly Republican armed forces??"

My father was a Naval Intelligence officer during the Cuban Missile Crisis. My grandfather is buried in Arlington National Cemetery for his service during WW2, my brother was an Airborne Ranger, and my Uncle fought in Vietnam. ALL PROUD PASSIONATE BRAVE LIBERAL DEMOCRATS.

Liberals, if you knew even a single thing about them, ARE NOT POWER HUNGRY PEOPLE. We don't "pretend to care" about things, we care very very deeply about those brave soldiers and we don't want A SINGLE ONE EVEN SLIGHTLY HURT for BushCo's buddies warmongering profit machine. Follow the money and wake up.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but unfortunately I think the libs hold a decent majority in america and they are willing to LOSE A WAR WITHA SERIOUSE ENEMY just to prove Bush wrong. This kind of thinking is dangerous

I think they are more worried about the size of their jet than the conflict in Iraq. They don't care how many soldiers die, they just want to be right.
