I have seen some documentaries about WWII and what we did to win that war. It seems that we are "pussy footing" around in Iraq. Please, no offence to all that are there now or will be. But I just needed to know.

Its obvious and without any doubt its Britain. Not being big headed but man for man we would beat Ameica hands down. The training is better, harder, more complex, more rewarding at the end and has a proper history behind it. History is not going to win any wars but gives a sense of something to aspire to. The Americans are all well and good as an army because they have the size and the WMD ( which they would no doubt use with the moron of a president they have ) and can scare all the little nations with very little in terms of armed forces. Britain on the other hand can put fear into most countries by hinting the might send its forces in and then theres the SAS. It blitzes any similar special forces group on earth and can win a war single handedly. Now they may not technically the British army but they are under the command of it so they fall into the catagory. I understand the Americans are going to moon and groan saying uh yeh but duh we won WWII for you. Yeh course you did course!!

It has .45 C S A stamped on it, and below that it has 5 1/8 B stamped on it. Wondering if it did come from the Confederate War and any other info on it. I believe C. S. A. stands for Confederate States of America.

They did it by killing all those who opposed them.
As a result, they lived in oppulance, safety, and prosperity.
They acheived this without the input of the press, bleeding heart conservatives, or dogmatic television piping in B.S.

Win by Attrition.
Everone wants a nuke. Why not remind the world how they work, and what they do. Why do we not rain down hellfire on them? not from a sub, a ship, or a land base. But from portable launchers in space that just sit and wait for the target to pass by?

Aren't the greatest stratgic minds on this problem? Why is the best possible solution more soldiers? Why don't we just leave and let 'em fight it out amongst themselves?

Apparently the USA used to belong to King George III of England until George Washington defeated him and it gained its independence.

However, the UK never signed a peace treaty with the US and so the two countries are still technically at war.

Do you think that we need to be careful in case Mr Tony Blair wants the US back ?

A lot of buzz going around trying to make the Christmas season "non-exclusive" by removing religious references. I.e., saying "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas" and renaming a Christmas Tree a Holiday Tree?
Personally, I think it is a complete crock. The holiday is called Christmas. It is part of the lives of 98% of Americans. I totally reject the discriminatory claims the political correct-ers use. I have no problem with examples of other religious expression during this time of year. For example, want to put up a mennorah (sp?) in the town square? Go ahead. I think it is great. Mind you, it is a mennorah not a "holiday candelabra". I am Catholic but feel quite honored if someone wishes me a Happy Hannukah. I am not offended at all. Christmas is Christmas. Leave it be! Merry Christmas to everyone!

The Army won't let us call an M16 a gun. They claim it's a rifle instead. So, it's a gun with rifling! Everybody knows that anything that shoots bullets is a gun. Why is that so hard for the Army to understand?

Hi,

I saw this video on YouTube and was wondering what it's from? Is it from a hovering apache helicopter or something?

WARNING:
Video shows an American crosshair shooting at poor, helpless Iraqis installing an irrigation system into their field so some images may shock:
