Wrong, Romans were extremely political, and it was there own internal political struggles which greatly contributed to the fall of Rome. Also the majority of Romans were slaves and although they lived better than the slaves of some other nations thats like saying you have the least painful bullet wound.

Bu the way put on a shirt you damn plebeian, and ask real questions .

This true, but that was a diffrent time so those methods worked. In the time we live in conquering works for some majoritys and minoritys but will not work for a whole nation liek the Romans.

Romans were every bit as political as we are today. The romans relied on good relations with their neighbors and depepended on the barbarian tribes for peace. Their empire got overinflated and even gave barbarians land and citizenship to serve in the army.
