"F" the third world. Why should it have gone outside the USA? $1,083.00 could be given to all American Citizens. IMHO the 3rd world can go drop dead, we have been feeding and taking care of them since I can remember the first ad on tv. Time to realize it is an unwinnable quagmire and let nature take it's course with them.

nothing, b/c even if we wouldn't have invaded iraq that money wouldn't have been spent on the 3rd world.
they are poverty stricken and there isn't much to do about it. htere is a class system established in the world and it would be great if it wasn't that way and we could all live happily together, but that's just not how it works, so let it go.

just being a realist.

take care.

The hell with the Third World - what could that have done for America? Giving it to the Third World ensures 95% of it goes into some fat cat's Swiss bank account.

I would, most definitely start to think of any other country, in the money sense, when and ONLY AFTER, I had taken care of America's own social service problems, and additionally giving a head start, in fixing our social security program, an action that is needed to avoid the depletion of funds by fiscal year 2028.

It could have been spent on education within the US so people here on Yahoo! Answers could spell...

It could have been spent on the FENCE that Congress voted for but failed to fund.

Nothing. We keep throwing money at Africa and it is still a cesspool of disease, starvation and corruption. I'd much rather see my tax dollars go towards fighting for our freedom than for some hair brained UN scam.
