Iran's military is a very well trained Military, and can not be compared with the Iraqi Military that fought a less than a month war with USA. First is because Iran's Military didn't have any sanctions apposed on it for 12 years like the Iraqi Army, second when the Iraqi army fought the War, must of the soldiers ran away, because they didn't want to fight a War, to defend Saddam again, the Iran Army has been rebuilding it self since the 8 year war against Iraq in the year 1988, when it lost more than 5 hundred thousand soldiers (about 1 million cv.). I dont think America can go into another war, and special not with Iran, because this war will be fought on the Iraqi Land, for many reasons, such as most of the army's best spies are now in Iraq, and running their mallacous on the Arab Sunnis such as sadar group. I think it will be INSANE if Americans tried to touch Iran soil, because these people are Insane as well...

Perfectly adequate for defense, and with enough capability to make us nervous regionally, but of course not in the same league technologically with the U.S., British, or western European armies.
In view of the people and terrain, they really have more than enough to deter an invasion. Their navy can again, if they wish, cause significant regional problems for a brief period, just as they did a few years back, but lacks sustainability or major blue-water power (though the idea of an Iranian sub trying to sneak a shot at a U.S. carrier is not to be ignored).

They like to show off their weapons. It's a big c**k war. Iran, America, North Korea. Even Israel, with their own war(s). They all just want to show the world, their great might. While people are dying for no good reason in Africa.
