just one year, then that's it. Girls and guys. I think it would open up a lot of people's eyes.
.....this is my solution to the draft (if there were to ever be one) that way you don't have to serve 4 years (or however long it is) and only some people go.

I know it's only a concept because it could never happen, there would be too much money wasted training people and then they'd only be in for a year and not many would stay in after....money wise it doesn't make sense. But as a concept...what do you think?
I think we need people to learn about this first hand. I know the anti-military and such people will say no.

Does that not shock anyone. Correct me if i'm wrong but will that create civil war in Iraq. And isn't that againest human rights. I know Saddam ordered Kurds to be killed and raped. But didn't Bush go to war with Iraq for no reason and caused the majority of all the bombings of recent years. He lit the spark that will burn for 10,000 years. I think Bush or America will nuke Iraq in the next 10 - 20 years. Surley there has to be an end. Whoever nukes first becomes the victor. Maybe i'm being harsh but if the world got rid of America it would be a better place.

Recently I read an article from the Heritage which reported that hundreds of thousands of Iraqi military were killed during Gulf War. They reported that the bodies were buried in "mass graves"...that got me to wondering about"mass graves" supposedly uncovered by the U.S. with the deaths attributed to the deeds of Saddam.
What is going on?
(On History Channel, also saw film footage of literally thousands of Iraqi vehicles (trucks, tanks, etc) which ran for several miles along the desert leading from Iraq to Kuwait, which films were taken soon after the Persian Gulf War ended). Someone had to have driven these vehicles to their locations.

Do you think that it is just a coincidence that Saddam Hussein's execution is being timed to fall on Eid ul-Adha, the Muslim Feast of the Sacrifice?

Does George W. Bush really think that he is giving this graphic execution to the people of the Middle East and the United States, as a gift in exchange for the "sacrifice" of all the lives of the Iraqi citizens and American soldiers to Bush's "causes"? Is it appropriate?

Is the timing meant to humour Muslims and Iraqis, taunt them or do neither?

I am not saying that Saddam Hussein was any angel and that he has not caused a lot of pain, damage and suffering in the lives of other people. I think he and George W. Bush are hypocrites.

That so many people can loathe their own country so much. Are they just blinded by white hot Bush hate? Are they hosed by what the mainstream media comes out with? Is life too soft for so many that they have forgotten that freedom IS NOT FREE? What gives?

were fighting two wars in Afghanistan and Iraq now and both seem to be getting worse by the day. Then we have Iran who is threating to wipe Israel off the map and wants to nuke the U.S and then North Korea who has been testing their nukes and want to use them on the U.S, Japan, and South Korea, while Russia and China (two world powers with nuclear weapons) has somewhat sided with NK and would help NK if i was attacked by the U.S. Then theres wars going on between Israel and Palestine in Gaza and also Israel fighting Hezbollah in Lebanon, with Syria threating Israel. Also Venezuela has been siding with Iran and has threatened the U.S. Then India and Pakistan have been on the verge of total war with eachother for years. Theres also conflicts going on in Africa right now with genocides. So I ask you are we on the verge of a world war, do you think any of these conflicts, which most are just a battle of words, will turn into military action?

While you're driving, you see a business fling the American flag incorrectly (whether it’s waving a state flag or another flag above it, fling it in the rain, or anything that is in any way disrespectful) Would you..

1) Think nothing of it & drive by wondering how they can be so stupid and still survive
2) become angry/frustrated yet continue on your way, fuming
3) (If it’s on your side of the highway/interstate) pull over & politely ask them to fly it correctly
4) Fly across the median, through the other side of the road, dodging traffic, come bursting through the door & immediately demand to talk to the manager.

If not one of these, what would you do? I ask because, yesterday, I was riding in the back seat of the car during the ride home from vacation & my mom noticed that a business had not lowered the state flag after fling the American flag half-staff in honor of President Ford's recent death. My parents did nothing about it except say how stupid the people were.
