Saddam deserves the punishment he gets---Quite frankly I believe he is getting off too lightly--he gets to hang and it will be almost painless---what about all those victims of his and his regime??? Where was the compassion there?? they showed none--He deserves to DIE 10,000 times...all you suckers out there who are actually defending this, are crazy!! this man is an evil man who is going strait to hell!!

Ever actually watched someone die from violence? I have. I don't think any day is a good day for a hanging.

I personally feel that Saddam is evil and should be hanged; however, I am not sure the consequences of hanging him are worth it. If we make him sit in prison the rest of his life, he is humiliated. If he is executed he can claim he is a "martyr".
