were fighting two wars in Afghanistan and Iraq now and both seem to be getting worse by the day. Then we have Iran who is threating to wipe Israel off the map and wants to nuke the U.S and then North Korea who has been testing their nukes and want to use them on the U.S, Japan, and South Korea, while Russia and China (two world powers with nuclear weapons) has somewhat sided with NK and would help NK if i was attacked by the U.S. Then theres wars going on between Israel and Palestine in Gaza and also Israel fighting Hezbollah in Lebanon, with Syria threating Israel. Also Venezuela has been siding with Iran and has threatened the U.S. Then India and Pakistan have been on the verge of total war with eachother for years. Theres also conflicts going on in Africa right now with genocides. So I ask you are we on the verge of a world war, do you think any of these conflicts, which most are just a battle of words, will turn into military action?

At any given time in history, there are numerous wars and conflicts going on. Currently there are 40+/- conflicts in the world. The only time the WORLD WAR status is attibuted to a war is when the superpowers square off on opposite sides in open declarations of war.

We are far from that scenario, altho i agree the spark is there to ignite a larger conflagaration. But for now, just think regional conflicts, proxy wars, brinksmanship, sabre rattling and disagreements between rump states.

When the US, Russia and/or China square, then come back and we'll talk WW III. The history books haven't declared the Cold War as WWIII or the current war on terror as WWIV. You'll know when WWIII hits, that burst of EMP will be your first warning....

As Einstein is often quoted as saying, WWIV will be fought with sticks and stones.... for we'll be knocked back into the stone age by world war three.

I hate to tell you this, but we are basically already there.....
You have stated most of the obvious around the World, but what you need to look at is the ties that Bind Them.....and Why.....
You stated a war between Israel & Palestine in Gaza....Look again..
Currently the 2 Palestine (Terrorist) Hamas & Fatah are fighting each other. Israel pulled out & Egypt was able to see the writing on the wall as well, which is why they closed there boarder into Gaza. Israel has shown GREAT restraint toward Gaza in the past couple of months, after all they are STILL being shelled from Gaza....Don't forget they are still holding 2 IDF Soldiers which they captured.
I hate to tell you but the Genociedes in Africa have been going on for YEARS, but becasue they didn't have anything we (The World) meaning Oil, needs & You may not like to hear this but here goes.....The Color of Their Skin!!!!
I like that you notice Venezuela.....Venezuela has a very checkered past. When the Nazi were fleeing as fast as they could ~ Venezuela took them in. Currently in Venezuela it is very difficult at times to be Jewish.....
Its been 60 years since the Death Camps & Nazi Germany ~ Most of your Survivors are now to dieing off.....
Is History repeating itself??
This is something you need to ask yourself....
Are you willing to turn your head and let it happen AGAIN!!
Or are you willing to say ~ ENOUGH is ENOUGH!!!!
You hold the key....What are you willing to do with it??

Al Qaeda (the Base) got its start providing logistical support to the Taliban in fighting the Soviets in Afghanistan, and an organized Jihad has basically continued to this day, and it doesn't have national boundaries, so the case could be made that this qualifies. The various Islamic groups are only very loosely if at all connected, so it's a bit different from what's happened in the past, but war does evolve.

Its WW4. WW3 was the cold war which we won. We are now in WW4 which is the fight against Islamic Facism. They are finding that there are plenty of parties like NK and even China and Russia that would be less than disappointed if the western world should have its hands full for a while. Nobody called WWI or WWII by those names until after the fact.

Outstanding question!

Think about this: Do you realize that it would only take a few major highways to be knocked out and a few of the major bridges and this country would stop. Come to a stand still. And if they ______, can fly into buildings and thought it out as far as the pilots for these jets legally? They can do more harm than we realize. I don't think that we should have the attitude "It isn't going to happen again," I pray that it won't. But, the way things are going, I just hope that all ends well.

We won the war a long time ago when Sodom was arrested, put in jail and now could be hung as early as Saturday.

I think if Bush doesn't get our troops out of Iraq and Afghanistan soon, I think it is a real possibility we could be headed towards World War 3.

Yes indeed. World War 3 is near, as Nostradamus had predicted. Nostradamus also said that the Middle-East will be greatly involved in this war. Nostradamus' description
in his visions are those of blinding clouds of light brighter than a thousand suns.

Yes, we are heading into World War 3. But, God said if we all pray, He'll change nations. All we have to do is cry out to Him and ask. There are people praying day and night about this same matter, and the more people join them, the better things will get. We just need to pray, turn our eyes to God, and He'll rescue us! Praise the Lord, He promised, it's just up to us to go to Him. That seems to be the most difficult thing for people to do. To humble themselves before God and say, God, we need you, please help us. And that's the only thing that will work!
