there are a lot of unanswered questions that need to be answered before we can help you. Like- how old are you? what kind of experience did you get in the military, are you married with kids, do you have money saved up, are you planning to work again as a civilian.....?
Life could be great. My uncle retired from the military at 40-something and went back to work as a doc. as a civilian. So he was recieving civilian income as a doc and military retirement money. His wife was also working, so that's 3 incomes. Not bad, huh?

depending on what rank you retire at, you will probably have to work a second job to make ends meet. you should do well getting any type of job in your field though. good luck.

You should travel or do somethings that you always wanted to do like go to a internation country and tour it or go buy a house on the beach on one of the coasts.
