How many think that instead of the draft, all males and females, when completed high school, went to Basic and Advanced training, and after that, had 4 years of service sorta like the guard or reserves (2 weekends a month), In return, the 1st two years of college is free. Think about it, we have a ready avaible defense force, and no more defaulted student loans. Plus, there would be no reason that a associate degree could not be the average level of schooling. Raising our educational level in the process.?

It will come in time we can't say the service is staffed where we dont need the draft, people are dieing, getting hurt where they are sent home, some are being sent home on mental distress, and others are just not returning because thier family needs them.

I saw an Iranian cartoon that glorified suicide bombers. And clips from a Muslim children's show where the little girl host was singing a Barny-type song, only the lyrics were "Jews are pigs and Jews are dogs, with Allah's help we'll kill them all".

Do we actually think this is going to end peacefully when the kids are brought up to hate Israel and America and brainwashed into thinking their happiness depends on the destruction of us?

If our country was bombed tomorrow (Thanksgiving)while we were all with our family and friends,how would you feel? Would you rally around each other and have the same closeness as when it happened on Sept.11, 2001??
I would feel totally at a loss as I did 5 years ago. I just wish our country would be close and not have so much fighting amoung ourselves, and Thanksgiving is a special time that most of us have in common.
