It looks like even marines are looking for a point to the Iraq war...I mean I support our troops completely...but Is it fair that we have to wait for the Iraqi Govt to get thier crap together while our boys get shot at?

Does anyone know what the life cycle classification actually means? I heard no one can leave the unit but does that mean just PCSing or also ETSing or going to OCS or what? Does anyone actually know?

hahahahahahh russian president once said that his sole aim is to once again be the sole superpower in the planet and take anyone that goes against it down and out....and china are biding their time and building weapons to hit america hard....russia and china did a military exercise together to show their military might....and u bet both of these 2 countries wana take america out and thats y they want iran on their side...iran has syria...north korea....and many other small countries in which the big guns will give their weapons to them.....america will be defeated and u and ur people wont know what hit u....forget about what happened in the past with the 6 day war and 1989...they r history...its about the present and the fact is that iran is rapidly approaching of becoming one of the top 5 military powers in the planet....russia wana become number 1 and china possibly 1=.....but the goal remains the same .....take out america.....then u can take out israel like a poof....

Why hasn't the IDF destroyed hezbollah yet? The casualties of Israeli soldiers and Hezbollah fighters are not that far apart. Were their air raids a big mistake considering they gave Hezbollah the backing of the civillian population? Or were the numbers of soldiers sent into Lebanon insufficient?

Ok, I'm interested in joining the military and everytime I talk to a recruiter they say I can't because of my diebetes. OK, fine but they always the "The medical officer will evaluate your eligibility" or some shite like that. Will somebody give me the laymans reason instead of that?

ok i dont understand, april 2nd 2005 i was on a convoy when my vehicle was hit by an ied. i was injured, had internal bleeding and a severe headache for 3 weeks. purple heart regulations state that if injured by enemy fire that entitles you to be awarded the purple heart. i was denied the purple heart. but yet this past may there was a guy that was in his rack, the building was hit with a mortar and a brick fell on him. he was awarded the purple heart. am i wrong for being pissed? what should i do? my command says that they cant do anything with it. should i write my congressman AGAIN? or am i just wasting my time?

yes i think america shold give up their nukes to iran..period!! iran deserves it....america dont need it....screw the americans....iran needs to help with their energy crisis....its essential iran gets nukes....so wat if they wana nuke america....who the hell.doesnt man....if they wana nuke america lets let them.....personally i think america should consider giving up its nukes to iran....havent u heard about the iranian energy crisis....r u ppl blind?? dumb american fatties...i think bush planned 9/11 and the recent terror thing...i they need an excuse for oil.....

We know that the WMD threat was fabricated. At the time there were UN inspectors looking for these weapons, and the UN offered to increase the number of inspectors by a hundred. At the very least why didn't the USA wait for the inspection to be completed?

NEW YORK -- The US government was closely involved in the planning of Israel's military operations against Islamic militant group Hezbollah even before the July 12 kidnapping of two Israeli soldiers, “The New Yorker magazine reported in its latest issue.

The kidnapping triggered a month-long Israeli operation in South Lebanon that is expected to come to an end on Monday.

But Pulitzer Prize-winning US journalist Seymour Hersh writes that President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney were convinced that a successful Israeli bombing campaign against Hezbollah could ease Israel's security concerns and also serve as a prelude to a potential US preemptive attack to destroy Iran's nuclear installations.
