It absolutely did. The US provoked many wars through history under the constant propaganda (Fighting terrorism):
-World War 2: Thousands of civlian Japanese died because of the US's use of an internationally forbidden weapons of mass destruction.
-Vietnam: Millions of civilains killed.
-Lebanon: Provoked Israel, helped finanicially and by weapons. Over 1000 Labanese CIVILIANS killed, OVER THREE HUNDRED of them ARE UNDER 12, over 3800 injured, and A MILLION had their houses destroyed and became homeless. So Yes! The US is to be blamed.

lets get one thing straight here.
The Middle east has been at war within itself for god knows how long. So be it. Thats the way it is.
However the united states of america decided duee to its own foreign policy to intervene in the middle east to protect the oil. It created Israel and took land away from palestine.
Because the united states did this Hatred was created . That hatred came from terrorists.
If america had not intervened in the middle east way before 9/11 then they would not have become a target on that date.
The United States should just stick to making movies thats what they are good at , havent you ever seen the moon landing? Made in hollywood. They should stop making the rest of the world targets of terrorism by intervening in other countries affairs.
Remember this all started long before 9/11 it started when america started giving arms and missiles to middle eastern countries . Then 9//11 happened. So then tell me is America provoking a war? i say yes

The US military is really just an extension of the Israeli army.
Whenever Israel attacks, the US is right there supplying more bombs and giving vocal support.
In the case of Lebanon, I think you'll find that Hizbollah got a fright when Israel reacted in the way that it did - it wasn't expecting such a harsh response.

Love is Great (Way above me) You don't think your just a bit biased? As you are a Muslim...
Why are we at fault again, when you ****ers are into WMD yourselves?
****ing hypocrite!!
--Rob
Isreal is not wrong for defending themselves...And neither is the U.S. for supporting them. They are an ally...
Seems to be that whenever there is something going on, the world points to either Isreal or the U.S... even if the same **** happened in THEIR country, and though they would do the exact same thing, it is somehow BAD that the U.S. did it...
Besides that, if anything BAD happens to anyone country or more, it's the U.S.'s fault anyway--- even though we help half the countries on the planet...
...But to bring up another point... If this country is SO DAMN BAD, Why the **** are people so hot 'n horny to move to the U.S.???
The whole damn world is a buncha hypocrites...
Stupid ****ers!!

If Iran continues to try to develop nuclear weapons, then that would unstable the whole region beyond repair. Iran's president has already said that Israel needs to be wiped of the face of the earth. Israel would strike the facility with their Air Force before they developed a nuclear bomb. It would be a matter of survival for Israel, just like they did with Iraq when they were trying to develop one.

Goodness sake! Hezbollah has attacked US, the U.S.A., several times, and it is "America provoking world war"?
Hezbollah has made clear they are enemies to the United States, attacked us in the region in addition to Israel. Who do you THINK we are going to side with?
In addition, the U.S.A., China, Russia, and virtually every country in the world have military plans against virtually every country they can reach in the world. This is called, for the politically unwise, "military planning".
It is considered wise to have plans ahead of time for enemies, or even allies who might turn into enemies, rather than simply wait until they attack and then desperately come up with plans.
Kind of foolish to expect that we wouldn't make plans with Israel against one of the groups whose attacked us before, don't you think? The difference is that we didn't do it until they attacked our ally.
This is like the argument that "the U.S. had plans to attack Iraq before 911!"
Silly. We had plans to attack Iraq before President Reagen. We had plans to attack CANADA before President Reagen. We had plans for if we LOST to Canada before President Reagen.
Does that mean we plan to lose a war with Canada?

Read and learn. I don't believe we could say as far as provoking a world war but with the actions being taken by this American admn, things will escalate. You do not resolve issues by assisting Goliath, because the Davids will gang up and do whatever they can to retaliate - terrorists. Stop it, not fuel it. Remember how the Clinton admn dealt with this?...getting the Israelis and Palestines to talk....?..since then, Iraq, Palestine, lebanon, Afganistan...as it looks, Iran...!!!

America supported Israel to occupy Arab lands.America arms Israel continuously with the state of the art weapons.America gives huge financial aid to Israel every year.America vitoed every Security council resolution agreed by the world community if it was against Israel. The Arabs are resisting occupation with their modest resources they are sacrificing their lives for their noble cause.Getting their lands and dignity back.america is now equating the legitimate resistance to terrorist actions. This is wrong and yes it is provoking world war.

The more advanced countries just invent their own terror and then identify it where they want it to be, so they can then attack to achieve their agendas.
You cant fight terror it is an idea "the war on terror" is just buzz words to keep the sheeples happy at home and not thinking too much.

yes they are for sure....and this war will not be one of those old type of wars where 1 american atomic bomb finishes everything off....ok lets start at the beginning....america attack iran..then it could lead to russia AND china joining the fight for iran....next...north korea will see this as an opportunity to hit america...so will syria...venezuela..cuba...and god only knows how many enemies america has...
say russia or china didnt join the fight....north korea might join as they and iran can gang up....
one of vladimir putin's main goal is to once again become a superpower...and this will prove a great chance to gang up as iran has russia and china as military allies. and in 2003 a senior chinese military official said china will use nukes on US if they interfere with the taiwan business...great opportunity for china...
america will have britain and israel as allies...but heavy casualties will make it EXTREMELY hard for the governments of US and its allies to continue war...
in my eyes america are opening up a can of worms where even they with their super military wont be able to defeat their enemies..i know americans r hard and they dont like when u hear this...but lets face facts....no power in the history of the planet has been the biggest power for ever and one day they will be joined by others....use of nukes on russia on china or any country ....well u can kiss america goodbye mate...america will be a mere desert and russia and china will show no mercy and they will be ruthless....
this is me just havin my say...and open to replies!

a nuclear armed iran is un acceptable!
fascism of the type iran is exhibiting,
led to world war 2.
there will be no world appeasment of iran,
for nuclear weapons.
it is iran that is fueling the current mideast unrest.
they are holding another country hostage in a fascist manner
and that is fact.
the lebanese people are not persian!
israel has the right to protect itself from a
country that wants to destroy it.
there is honor is what they have had to do.
