I want to know if there are any of our BRAVE soldiers on Yahoo Answers.

If there are, here's a "BIG THANK YOU!" for all you do.

Also, if you wouldn't mind just dropping us a note to say hi to the folks who will read this... And perhaps where you are at the moment (home or abroad).

Our freedom costs you in service and sacrifice. God bless you and keep you and yours.

In all of the current events going on right now, whether its war, or a skirmish, or terrorism, there seems to be a lot of fingerpointing and blame and labeling of bad guys. But who are the GOOD GUYS?

I came out with this test. Look at the two sides of any conflict and ask yourself what one side would do if the other side disarmed.
If the U.S. laid down it's guns and walked away from Iraq, what would happen? The insurgents would continue attacking. If the insurgents laid down their weapons, what would happen? The U.S. would pack up and ship out. (Obviously it's not quite that simple, but that's the gist).
If Hezbollah stopped fighting today, Isreal would have no reason to continue fighting. They would cease fire immediately.
If Isreal stopped fighting today, Hezbollah would over run their country, and kill everyone they wanted.

Just curious to see what other people thought.

was in a infentry unit for 10 years and never made it passed the rank of E-5 he was a ranger and had alot of cilivian education. I think he should of been an E-6 in about 6 or 7 years. The military kick him out at 15 years for just being an E-5. Do you think he is telling the truth?

My husband got picked for recruiting 8 months ago and has been miserable ever since. Is there a way for him to go back to his old MOS, he has not gone before the board yet, and has spoken to his first sergeant about getting out of this. He won’t put people in and I am worried about him being busted in rank. Anyone know anything that will help?!

I had naively thought that this was something only 3rd world and war torn armies practiced. Well, I've just learned otherwise. This is so morbid and disturbing. Here is the article that opened my teary eyes: http://www.indymedia.ie/article/77230
We are violating the very things we stand for. Guess that's just the republican way, the way of America.

World war 3 will start from an escalation of the middle east violence between the arab nations and Israel. Once The Saudi Arabian oil is no more America will abandon the richest arab country , like it did Sadam and Afghan fighters including Bin Laden back in the days, tha Saudi Arabian kings will not last forever , new republics will be born in the oil rich countries and particularly saudi arabia who has bought massive amounts of american weaponry will use them against Israel under the new young republic. America will protect Israel , but countries like Indonesia and Pakistan ( who has nuclear capacity) and iran will fight against america and its allies , China and Russia , North Korea will back the arabs.........and all hell will break loose
