Good question, we didnt go over there to rid the streets of heroin as 1 person said, thats just stupid! They went 4 the big USA. Blair being the little lap dog that he is just cant say no to his master Bush. What have we done? Got rid of sadam...about 20 years too late boys! still havent found bin laden and never will. just ******* up the middle east even more!...oh and slowly gaining control of the oil...and creating a great deal of tension between the east and the west. Bring our boys back! my friend was out there in 2003 and even he said its all a load of b******s!

We did not go to war with Afghanistan, we only just got there.

As the US forces are inept at combating gorilla warfare, and fighting in built up areas without massive bombing raids. Britain has sent forces to help with the war against terror.

We are there to help rebuild a country.

Also as Heroin is funding most of the terrorist activity from the Middle East, it seems better to stop the Western world from funding the Middle East terrorist. For that to happen, the poppy fields and drug lords have to be reduced and that will take a bit of time.

To get rid of an evil group of people that were harbouring international terrorists, flooding the west with heroin and forcibly subjugating their own people.

We are still there because, having rearranged the rubble with bombs, they need to live somewhere and be able to eat and drink.

This is not the battle we should be concerned about. Iraq is a different question, but having made a dogs breakfast of that country we are morally obliged to help them get it together again.

To remove the scum of Heroin from British Streets.

The Taliban kill 100's upon 100's of British and Europeans with Heroin, year in year out. It has to be stopped.

That is precisely what we are doing there.
