I had a friend get arrested for no reason and they searched his car and had no warrent and didnt read him his miranda rights i just wondering if that legal or not!

Just curious, what is it like to get a first offenso of DUI in countries other than the US?

My girlfriends 18 yr old daughter was partying while we were sleeping (around 2am until 4 am.) I was not aware of this but my girlfriend was. If one or all the kids got hurt (driving home) would I be held responsible because the house is in my name, or would my g/f be responsible since she knew what was going on?

My girlfriend missed a court date on 8-23 & just found out that there is a civil bench warrant for her. (It was a small claims court hearing in wisconsin). Will she be arrested? What should she do? Any advice would be helpful - thanks!

okay so yesterday im on my way home from work and a state trooper pulls me (florida highway patrol).....i wasnt doing anything wrong but he pulled me and said my window tint was too dark!....so he puts a meter on it and sure enough its illegal...I apparantly have limo tint and its too dark....so he writes me a $71.50 citation and gives me a 30 day fix-it-or-ticket, meaning ive got 30 days to have it removed or i pay the citation....nevermind that fact that ive got to do my window tint all over (and pay for it again) but my question is how is it that limos can have it but i cant and another question - can he pull me for window tint on his hunch that its illegal or does he have to pull me for something else (moving violation) and then address the issue of the tint?
i received no other citation.

Why is it that people sent to prison for years are able to kiss and hug their families during visitation, but people sent to the county jail for a simple charge have to see their families behind glass???

I know it's a picky subject, and that I could've killed someone and I have since been very careful and respectful. But the fines, andprobation and counseling are adding up in both terms of time and money.
I am grateful I make a decent amount of money, but what about those people who do not?

As aprt of my judgement I'm am not allowed in bars. That blows. Even if I don't drink I do quite a bit of socializing and business meetings at bars and it's going to affect me greatly.

Your thoughts?

I have heard soo many stories of sexual predators luring children in from the internet. I have been trying to figure out what I want to do with my life for sometime, when I finally decided I wanted to help in this fight. I am 19. What could I do to get in on this? Any information would be helpful.

I know this is singles and dating but i already tried the law inforcement section...i just need some more suggestions.

I'm a big fan and have many friends who are policemen but I always feel agrieved when i see all the things on the TV that people seem to be getting away with and then I see people getting arrested for having petty arguments in the street (this is breach of the peace apparently)

Do you think they have lost sight of what the job actually entails as I don't see them protecting and serviing anymore, just harrasing people because they have the power. Again not everyone is the same but in every case I have witnessed this is the case?

Any ideas?

A school bus is stopped at the side of the road. Both lanes are still open.

It's stop sign is up. The door is open because the bus driver is talking to a parent.

A driver comes up and drives passed the bus.

Should the driver get a ticket? What does the law say?

i am on probation for embezzling money about 7 years ago. this was my first time getting in trouble so they put me on probation to pay back the money. I am on probation currently. i started a job with this co. i have been alot of dedt. i am a single mother of 2 kids and it is hard. well my boss ask me whats wrong one day i told him. he ask how much dedt are you in i told him 14,000.00. i had only been employeed for 3 weeks. he said write a check for that amount and he will have a lawyer draw up a payment agreement. so i did and i sign the agreement. he said do not let his wife know. well after that 2 weeks later i aks for more a raise he gave me raise and gas allowance. payroll has been mess up before i work there. we have to call payroll in well they had over paid me and other employees for 6 weeks. i finally caught the mistake and had them take money out of my check. well i told himm and he fired me and told me that i am going to jail for getting extra money on my check did not askfo
