Please don't plead the fifth. And if you haven't.. have you ever wanted to?

i was in an accident,i rear ended someone, who purposely brake-checked me to cause damage with harmful intent. the insurance company found the guy to be 100% at fault for the accident. neither one of us were cited by the police. he left the sceen of the accident brfore the police arrived, he had no damage to his vehical ,but mine was over $3000, and i have a $500 deductiable.
to pay. what happens to the guy since he had no insurance or no drivers liecence. they only gave him a ticket when they found him for driving under suspension, and failure to control.

My neighbour has recently been seen with a video camera set up in his front bedroom window, pointing towards the pavement and road in front of his house. However, we live on a busy terrace street where there are a lot of passer-by's, and a lot of young children play out just across the road - which is probably being captured on camera. Is this legal? If not, who do I report it to?

What is it like at the FBI academy in Virginia? Do you find your job exciting or scary? What is the training like at the FBI academy is it like army training? I'm just wondering. I like that show body of evidence on court tv and watching the FBI files on Discovery.

TO THOSE OF YOU NOT FAMILIAR WITH JOE ARPAIO

HE IS THE MARICOPA ARIZONA COUNTY SHERIFF

AND HE KEEPS GETTING ELECTED OVER AND OVER

THIS IS ONE OF THE REASONS WHY:

Sheriff Joe Arpaio (in Arizona) who created the "tent city jail"

He has jail meals down to 40 cents a serving and charges the inmates for them.

He stopped smoking and porno magazines in the jails. Took away their weights.

Cut off all but "G" movies.

He started chain gangs so the inmates could do free work

on county and city projects. Then he started chain gangs for women

so he wouldn't get sued for discrimination.

He took away cable TV until he found out there was a federal court order

that required cable TV for jails. So he hooked up the cable TV again only

let in the Disney channel and the weather channel.

When asked why the weather channel he replied, so they will know how hot

it's gonna be while they are working on my chain gangs.

Probation is where offenders remain at large for community service instead of being fined or imprisoned.

I'm a late bloomer when it comes to learning to drive (don't ask, I'm ashamed enough as it is...and yes, I did the driving school thing, too). After one of a few test drives, I came home with my dad in one piece but I got honked at twice by two different people.

What is the legality of putting up a small, bumper-sticker sign in the back window that says "Student Driver?" Is it illegal? If I had a sign like that, I wouldn't get honked at as much.

I understand that one of the "tests" one has to pass to enter the police department (at least the ones I'm applying for) is the Polygraph exam. I am very curious as to what kind of questions they ask you during that test. Will I fail if I'm just worried that the machine will misinterpret my answers? That thing scares me, and I'm not going to lie. So, have you been through it? If so, how was it?

They are saying I owe money that I in fact can prove I don't owe and have sent a wage garnishment to my employer. When I called for information about the past due amount they said I would have to submit an acct. review which takes 6 - 8 weeks. During this time my employer will HAVE to garnish my wages. If after the Acct. review is completed it is determined that I did not owe this money the only way I can get it back is if my ex WILLINGLY gives it back to me. Just wondering if anyone knows away around this. Its scary the more I read about this agency. They are allowed to place liens on homes and seize bank accounts without a court order. Pretty scary huh?
