I rather take a right up then get termination. But he saw me for not even brief secs. He just embarassed the heck out of me and its happened twice in a 1 year and half time frame.
I was asleep as far as the guest was concern so what could I say to counter that with my boss and bring doubt if I could? Any advice would be helpful other than getting rest lol

Can a group of people who have been stereotyped and discriminated for so long, have so much animosity against their oppressors that they will eventually become the oppressors; making the original oppressors the discriminated ones?

Could I get in trouble 4 sending a fax to warn other businessess to simply review past invoices to see if they were also victims .

I m certain of the dishonest practices for years. and truly believe everyone needs to know and will be able to prove from their records. they just need to know where to look.
I would press charges for the money stolen from us* but there is a catch. my husband accidentally noticed a mistake that brought up something curious several years earlier. most companies would be furious to review their records and learn this practice had been done to four of our accounts* overcharges every single week for over thirteen years. The amouint from reviewing only one item purchased every week was over $5o,ooo. when he brought this to their attention
their behavior and treatment of my husband literally sent him into shock and devastated to realize his best friend over 13 years had betrayed and lied to him. my husband is a very proud man that truly caredfor him. he is so hurt and humiliated he wont do anthing or ever speak of it again.
I am a true blue redneck and I want his nuts for new earrings
does anyone have any ideas that would atleast make me feel better for seeing my husband hurt so

I applied for an internal position at Kelly Healthcare - not a placement postion for a company they represent. They mentioned a background check which they state MAY include criminal, credit, education, prior employment history, driving record, etc..I have no criminal history, an excellent driving record, an excellent work record, average credit but I may have slightly exaggerated my education. Does anyone know how much of a thorough background check the company conducts? Do they really check all of these things even if you are not applying for a physician position or a position with requires credentials/licenses/certification? Thank you.

When a child (as old as eleven or twelve) touches a person in an innapropriate place in a taunting manner, is it considered sexual abuse? Was the child too young to know what he was doing? Is it abuse if the victim feels violated?
If not, then what is this kind of behavior called?

Doing a paper that has to display how empirical question can affect moral issues. I plan to have the moral statement be "The world should be comprised solely of democracys" the empircal question is "Do democracies violate human rights?"

Only example I can think of is Native Americans in the 1800's and possible the Weimar Republic becoming NAZI

Although she is a citizen, for some reason she worked under a flase social. And showed a old i.d card from when she was in a different state as identification. When she was working at ruby tuesday's the third month she received a letter from the social security office asking her to correct the information and that it does not match the records. and if not then emplyer's action would be termination. So i think she quit at that time, she did not want to give out her real social, because for some random reason, i think she was taking wellfare benifits and had a mental 12 month disability form from a psych. I know she has some mental illness, more severe than depression. Now she is being paranoid and wants to know what other problems could she have fallen into? since i think it is considered a crime! If she does it again?what will happen? and will the wellfare find out about this? even though there is no proof it really is her? since they i.d card is very old and social is wrong? Thanks!

Here's the shortest version: My sister got divorced from her loser husband. A judgment was made in the divorce that once the youngest child turns 18 she must give my ex brother in law $20k roughly for the house they lived in together. She still lives in the house and her youngest won't be 18 for another year. Over the summer, my sister took out a home equity loan, my ex brother in law ran her (my sisters) credit report, found out she took out this home equity loan and wants his money now. Remember, their has already been a judgment in the courts that said he gets it when the youngest turns 18. There is still roughly 50k equity in the property and he is only entitled to 20k. Obviously, my sister is upset thinking she will lose the house or have to pay him now instead of when the judge ordered. Any answers would be greatly appreciated. BTW , she lives in Michigan. He has an attorney. (He doesn't have a job, but he has an attorney!) Can he sue and what are the chances he'll win?

From Wolf's article: "To judge from firsthand documents obtained by the ACLU through a FOIA lawsuit, we can guess what is probably on the missing CIA interrogation tapes -- as well as understand why those implicated are spinning so hard to pretend the tapes do not document a series of evident crimes. According to the little-noticed but extraordinarily important book 'Administration of Torture: A Documentary Record from Washington to Abu Ghraib and Beyond' (Jameel Jaffer and Amrit Singh, Columbia University Press, New York 2007), which presents dozens of original formerly secret documents - FBI emails and memos, letters and interrogator "wish lists," raw proof of the systemic illegal torture of detainees in various US-held prisons -- the typical "harsh interrogation" of a suspect in US custody reads like an account of abuses in archives at Yad Vashem."

Be careful, torture is documented in this link: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/naomi-wolf/what-is-probably-in-the-m_b_76708.html

I got cited for illegal U-turn in June '06. The fine was $183. I went to court, pled guilty and paid a reduced fine of $150. This past Thanksgiving I got another ticket for speeding, which prompted me to check with AAA. They told me I would be charged for the u-turn ticket for 3 years. That means my premiums for '07, '08 and '09 will be up about $250 each. Ouch.
This past Thanksgiving Day I got a ticket for speeding, 400 miles from home. I called the court and through the automated system, I found out the fine would be $250. I suddenly realized, that I was ineligible for traffic school in the U-turn case in June 2006 because I had a commercial driver license for a school job. Since I graduated this past summer I haven't renewed my medical card, so technically I don't have a commercial license anymore. Should I request traffic school now? Is it going to be approved? Can I request AAA to waive the charge for my first offense in June 2006 now? Will my premium go up another $250 next time?

Suppose a person searches for a TV series on DVD from the 1990s and when it is received it looks like a copy, could the DVDs be legal or pirated--and how does one know?

The series was out on official video cassette at one point and the DVDs are coming out in the stores now, but the purchased DVDs could be legal, couldn't they?

If it is illegal, the seller should get in trouble for duping an innocent purchaser.

I would like to become a firefighter and I have a felony on my record that is 8 years old. I am 27 years old and it happened when I was 19 or 20. I have since moved on in my life but this felony charge prevents me from getting alot of jobs that I would really like. I have even been to college and graduated, but this elony seems to haunt me everywhere I go. It is a bank robbery charge. Does anyone out here know the correct answer?
