If you are not convicted, it will not be on your record, and you shouldn't have any problems with it!

The military may look at a class 5 felony as a misdemeanor, so look into the military(I was a Army recruiter for 6 years) your service will benefit you other than disclosing that information on a job application. Good Luck.
I am laughing reading some of these answers. If you where arrested and fingerprinted, your finger print record is what follows you, not what happened in court, try to explain this 10 years from now when applying for a job, ten states away with no access to the court system. When background checks are done they look at your fingerprint record and what the crime was. If the case is dropped, keep a copy of the court docket and save it, this will only be your saving grace.

Depends on the Question the application ask. Usually job applications ask, "Have you ever been convicted of a Felony?" In your husband's case is 'NO" Since he is in the process of getting the felony dismiss, then he was never convicted of that felony so the only thing he has to answer is NO. Now during the interview, if the boss ask, then that's when you mention that the felony is getting dismissed.

No. This will not affect anything. You won't have a criminal record if the charges are dropped. Only a conviction would require noting on the application, and even then, employers aren't supposed to discriminate against you.

no if you are found innocent then you haven't been "convicted" of any crime and you do not have to disclose it. however be warned that those that know you will always be suspicious of you and may make things harder for you. I guess this is a good time to sit back and re-evaluate if this is the life you really want for yourself or if this is in fact just your second chance to look back and make a few changes.

It has to be a conviction. If it is dropped or you do not get convicted, you are not considered guilty, and therfore it is not on your record.
