Why are they trying to fix this problem by providing amnesty for people who are breaking the law when the process for becoming a citizen legally be made a little less conveluted... I don't like the idea of compromising for this because they are deciding to come here so they should want to do what it takes but I don't think that the process needs to be as messed up as it is.

Note: I am NOT saying to make the process easier I'm just saying why not make it a little confusing..

What is happening to us? An immigrant invasion of the United States from the Third World, as America's white majority is no longer even reproducing itself. Since Roe v. Wade, America has aborted 45 million of her children. And Asia, Africa and Latin America have sent 45 million of their children to inherit the estate the aborted American children never saw. God is not mocked.
In the 1990s, for the first time since the Spanish came, whites left California. Two million departed. From July 1, 2005, to July 1, 2006, 100,000 more packed up and headed back whence their fathers came. The "Anglo" population of the Golden State is down to 43 percent and falling fast. White folks are now a minority in Texas and New Mexico. In Arizona, Hispanics account for over half the population under 20.

The future is not in doubt. Why ought this be of concern?

I have no problem with legal immigration. However, there more people killed each day in the United States by illegals, than there are each day in Iraq. When are we going to put a stop to this madness and lock down our borders?

Congress is throwing the first punch on this illegal immigration legislation so why don't we LEGAL taxpayers get something out of this as well?
My proposal is this. Every household that files taxes gets a $5,000.00 tax credit dollar for dollar off their taxes.
For example: You file next April and you owe 6K in taxes...apply the credit and you only owe 1K. If you have a refund coming you collect the 5K in 2 yearly installments to lessen the fiscal impact...so if you have $500.00 comeing back, you get a check for 3K.
The 500 +the 2500 installment. The thought being this. If we can deficit fund this war, and still have to absorb 12-20 million Illegals, then we can afford to help out our own people.
Your thoughts?

Oh and then vote the suckers in D.C. out that vote for this anyway.

If you catch your child stealing a toy do you let him keep it, no you punish him and return the toy, If you found someone broke into your house because they needed a place to stay would you let them stay, no you would kick their a$$ out, now if they knocked on the door and asked me I would probably do whatever i could to help. We are treating the Illegals better than we would treat our own children, we are rewarding them with exactly what they want, and they broke the law to get it.

What a bad mistake -- not only in terms of equity, but also politically, for The White House.

The plague on the Statue of Liberty reads "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest tossed, to me: I lift my lamp beside the golden door"

Ok now, so emotions aside, if we were to take that word for word, how would the poor afford to come here by todays standards? And where the hell is this "golden door"?(sarcastic of course) Do you need the golden key to open it?

I know it sounds a bit "tin foil hat" brigade, but have you noticed the response amongst a wide section of people is that it's "RACIST" to question anything about someone else's culture or anything to do with immigration.

It's like they're programmed to say it without thinking. Immigration? "Racist!" Crime trends? "Racist!" Cultural bias? "Racist!" Educational development? "Racist!"

Is this the ultimate in social engineering? How can people be made to understand that discussion and debate is the key to understanding and progress?

You can't let 100 million illegal aliens come into this country. It will not only take jobs away from Americans but it will also put a severe finacial burden on the tax payers. Don't let this happen.

When a city announces that if motorists with outstanding tickets pay their fines, they won't be arrested, it is called an "Amnesty."

However, when McCain proposes that if illegal aliens pay a fine, they won't be arrested, he claims that it is NOT amnesty!

So what is the difference? Why is a one called amnesty and the other is strongly denied as being amnesty?

I've read that it would be "too expensive" to accomplish this task. Yet, don't we pride ourselves as being a country of laws? I'm all for immigration but not for illegal entry; how can we tell a terrorist from a decent human being? Why hasn't the Federal Gov't taken care of this basic security issue before now? Why should individual border states have to spend tax dollars on a situation that affects all of the states?

While going through few yahoo questions I have come across , American Christian got married with a Hindu Indian according to Hindu form of marriage without converting to Hindu religion. Such marriage itself was illegal as according to the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 only two Hindus can marry according to Hindu form of marriage. Such marriage even got registered by the Marriage registrar which itself is wrong & illegal but as it happens by bribing such a marriage registrar the marriage certificate are being precured, which is being used by the parties for immigration to USA on the basis of marriage with an American person. The immigration department of USA send such a marriage certificate for verification through their Embassy in India who further have panel of lawyers appointed by the US government, simply confirm the marriage certificate as valid without going into the legality of the marriage itself, on this confirmation given by the Indian lawyers the US Govt. allows the immigration.
