When are we going to do the right thing with illegals?

I have no problem with legal immigration. However, there more people killed each day in the United States by illegals, than there are each day in Iraq. When are we going to put a stop to this madness and lock down our borders?

As soon as the American citizens have had enough. Paying for all the free bees, health care, food stamps, baby's that aren't ours. Getting everything that we can't. Having our IDS & SS# stolen our credit gone, What eles is left have them move into our homes & paying for that to. That is what the Dem & some Rep want Let them know NO Amnesty & close the borders. Criminal illegal aliens have no right at all. So sent them back & fine the employers & housing renters.Fight for our rights as we are lousing them fast. Only we the voters have a voice so let the Goverment here from you.Just my thought

I'll bet you don't have a credible link that proves your stat the more people are killed by illegals than each day in Iraq. That said, there are 300 million people in the United States. There are only a little more than 100,000 in Iraq. More people are killed by cars every day, and you don't want to get rid of cars. More people are killed by U.S. citizens each day. Do you want ALL of us to go? So what is the REAL reason you want to get rid of these people?

In any case, for the sake of argument, let's say you are right and we should get rid of these people. How? Are YOU going to pay for it? You mention the war. You already are paying a thousand dollars a year in taxes to finance that. How are you going to pay to "lock down our borders," a much more complex and expensive proposition than you probably know. Good luck figuring that one out. Everyone has a problem. Few people have any solutions.

Here is the real issue with immigration.

Americans somehow believe that illegal aliens are "taking american jobs"...well the fact of the matter is, they are doing it because they want to provide a better life for their families and for themselves. If you ask me, I would much rather see 100 hard working immigrants move in next door to me, than see one more lazy white trash welfare baby, or another "legal" american sitting with their hand out expecting everything to be given to them.

As far as your comment about more people being killed by Immigrants than by fighting in iraq.....first of all I'd love to know where you came up with that....Second of all, I'd like to point out that you can say the exact same thing about whites, blacks, germans, jews, christians, pit bulls, mother nature, food poisoning or anything else.

If Americans want to stop illegal immigration here is all they need to do.

Get a job.

If you speak english, and make any effort at all to find a job, you can get one. If you apply for a job and an illegal immigrant gets it instead its because of one of two things :

A. The employer wants to save money and benefits by breaking the law....the easy solution there is to report it.

B. You got outworked and you dont' deserve the job.

Americans (especially kids) are extremely spoiled. I have worked in many restaurants, and if I ever open my own, I will hire a mexican before an american 9 times out of 10, and the reason isn't because i want to save money, or break the law...the reason is...illegals are thankful for what they have, they work to support their family, and they work harder than the Americans who are more worried about making it home in time to watch tv, or making enough money to buy a new pair of shoes every week.

America as a society is always so quick to blame everyone else when in reality all they need to do is step back, look in the mirror, and face the music once in a while.

Oh, and I'll make no mention of how my ancestors and anyone else with white ancestors were the orignial illegal aliens...

If you are in this country illegally you are a criminal and should be deported immediately on verification. Being here illegally in itself shows a lack of moral backbone. If you are prepared to live a life of lies and deceit .... well what else can we expect of you?

Giving amnesty to illegals only encourages more illegals and is an insult to all those who have waited in line, paid their fees, and patiently submitted themselves to the whole immigration process to be here.

Border patrol agents should be given more authority to do their job and not thrown into prison for defending their country.

If I break the law and am punished should I be crying "poor me" .. this is certainly the current status of our immigration problem.

If immigrants want to come here to work in whatever capacity they are qualified to work, let them fill out the proper forms from their country of origin and wait their time in line like everyone else who has immigrated legally.

Well their are a lot of special interest groups in the US who make it their mission in life to ensure that politicians are as soft on illegals as possible. Not only that but the current politicians (most of them) are trying to gain the hispanic vote. Not only that but the liberal politicians are trying to make the illegals legal so that they have a permanent majority at the cost of the American people. Pretty sick if you think about it. Madison must be turning in his grave.

I'm also sick of how our elected officials completely ignore the importance of this topic. When it comes to politicians its like they live in their own world. Last I checked they work for us. We need more Americans to stand up to these people if we are ever going to have some helpful immigration policies in acted. The direction they are in now is 180 deg from what needs to be done.

The right thing is to deport them all and enact sanctions on Mexico to pressure them to eliminate the problem.

The right thing is impeded by Congress and the President who continue to suck up to Mexico in order that they may create a more perfect European Union.

as soon asa the taxpayers pay for the entire border being closed! a 3,000 mile barrier we need from california to the east coast, up to maine!!
