Congress is throwing the first punch on this illegal immigration legislation so why don't we LEGAL taxpayers get something out of this as well?
My proposal is this. Every household that files taxes gets a $5,000.00 tax credit dollar for dollar off their taxes.
For example: You file next April and you owe 6K in taxes...apply the credit and you only owe 1K. If you have a refund coming you collect the 5K in 2 yearly installments to lessen the fiscal impact...so if you have $500.00 comeing back, you get a check for 3K.
The 500 +the 2500 installment. The thought being this. If we can deficit fund this war, and still have to absorb 12-20 million Illegals, then we can afford to help out our own people.
Your thoughts?

Oh and then vote the suckers in D.C. out that vote for this anyway.

Works for me...

I still think there needs to be a line where WE choose where our $$ is spent (at least a part of it).

The dems will never go for it, they haven't seen a tax they didn't love, and the idea of them returning any of your money once it's in their hands is abhorrent to them.

it's a good idea, but with a dem congress, good ideas go the way of the Do-Do.

Sounds great, but in my years of voting, and voicing my opinion, Ive learned something... They dont listen, and they dont care.
I love this country, but Im thinking of moving to Canada.

That $ 5,000.00 fine won't happen. The pro-amnesty people and illegals are bitching about it.
