He is worried that INS is going to deport him, because he did not tell them he was here illegally in the first place, is there any reason for him to be worried about this situation he thinks his is in. There are some people at his work place that he thinks are going to call immigration and tell on him.

I am living in the U.S. and I have no documentation I have been here for 15 years. This is my senior year and I have the hopes of going to college, but it is difficult because I have no social security #, this restrains my aspects of working to pay for school or anything. My parents are drunks and don't care so I must do this on my own. Can I get a green card or apply for a guest worker program? If So where do I go? I really need help and am asking for any advice. If you just want to tell me to go back to my country please do not answer because there is no possible way.

My brother is a U.S. citizen currently based in India. If he files a petition for my Green Card/permenant residency status in the US, how much time will it take for me to get the Green Card? Kindly note he will file the petition from India. I have heard that if you file the application in India rather than from the US, the processing time is very less because of a much fewer cases of US citizens applying for family-based Green Card while living permanently in India. Kindly advice.

US Military Opening Recruiting Stations Overseas? Kill for America ,You Become A Citizen!
Quote

WASHINGTON
The armed forces, already struggling to meet recruiting goals, are considering expanding the number of noncitizens in the ranks, including disputed proposals to open recruiting stations overseas and put more immigrants on a faster track to U.S. citizenship if they volunteer, according to Pentagon officials.

Foreign citizens' serving in the U.S. military is a highly charged issue, which could expose the Pentagon to criticism that it is essentially using mercenaries to defend the country. Other analysts voice concern that a large contingent of noncitizens under arms could jeopardize national security or reflect badly on Americans' willingness to serve in uniform.

I notice a lot of harsh comments towards illegal aliens. One comment read: "They are multiplying, and the gvt is not doing anything, we have to take actions and that is the reason why we are killing them". Another comment said "Illegals increase crime rates, decrease house property, set up bad examples, and disobey American laws." These comments can't really be taken serious. "Decrease house property?" I work in Real Estate and trust me, that is not the reason of the decrease in the RE market. "Increase crime rates?" Crimes are committed by everybody, legal or illegal. I agree that illegal aliens should do everything according to the law, but I dont see the reason why people have to be so harsh towards illegal aliens. Im hispanic and a US Citizen, and it hurts to see how bad they treat illegal aliens. Please be honest and DO NOT be so rude. Being rude will only prove the kind of person you are. Thanks! I appreciate your comments = )

Bank of America has announced that it will begin issuing credit cards to illegal aliens without a social security number or a credit check provided the illegal has had a checking account for 90 days without an overdraft.

We read questions, we give answers. Surely at the end, you will get a good, general view of what the wider population actually think. For example - I was just reading a question on 'Benefits being stopped for immigrants who do not know English' Almost every single answer agreed that we should stop benefits for immigrants that do not know English. (This is just one example and this question should not be answered again here!)

It seems that these politicians who make laws and agree things without the input of the majority thought train have their heads up their ar ses and do not seem to really know (or care)what the population thinks!

And when do you think it will happen? I think France will fall first, then the UK, then Holland. Don't say Turkey, Turkey is NOT a part of Europe.
