I notice a lot of harsh comments towards illegal aliens. One comment read: "They are multiplying, and the gvt is not doing anything, we have to take actions and that is the reason why we are killing them". Another comment said "Illegals increase crime rates, decrease house property, set up bad examples, and disobey American laws." These comments can't really be taken serious. "Decrease house property?" I work in Real Estate and trust me, that is not the reason of the decrease in the RE market. "Increase crime rates?" Crimes are committed by everybody, legal or illegal. I agree that illegal aliens should do everything according to the law, but I dont see the reason why people have to be so harsh towards illegal aliens. Im hispanic and a US Citizen, and it hurts to see how bad they treat illegal aliens. Please be honest and DO NOT be so rude. Being rude will only prove the kind of person you are. Thanks! I appreciate your comments = )

you should be on here when the illegals and their supporters call the ameicans names and say they are going to kill us and take our land. your an american, u know threats like that don't go well with americans. if you ask me that is a terrorist treat. you say your american, then why are you sticking up for illegals? that would make you a trader to your country. by you selling homes to illegals is wrong. those people get caught and deported then they lose their homes.

your dealings with these illegals are very few. so i will enlighten you. they come here with TB all kinds of diseases. they are draining our welfare system that was set up for we Americans. they just as soon sell us out for a few pesos than think twice. 99% of these people have a 4th grade education if they even have that. they steal they commit crimes that if we committed we would be put in prison for life. but they send these back across the border and a week later theyre back.i could go on and on. but im not going to waste my time.

We don't like illegal immigration, for various reasons, and we are angry that so many people are violating the soveriegnty of this country's borders, with such impunity. If people were continuosly breaking a law that you actually cared about (that you felt strongly that they shouldn't break), then you would become increasing enraged at the situation, and then you would become hostile to the people who were doing it.

I know what it's like. I am married to a Mexican man, and you know what? Not all of them want to move to the states. I have to fight with him so that he will get his Canadian papers.

It's nice to know that not everyone here hates immigrants. As much as there are illigal immigrants that do put a burden on the economy, there are also many people that do things properly, without breaking laws.

As many of us agree, "illegal" means ILLEGAL, so of course they should have to go.

If they have a better life here, they "should" stay as long as the US allows them to stay.

But we cannot just sit and complain about it, we have to DO something about it:
Border Security - keep out anyone who did not follow this country's laws and regulations for being allowed in
Round up and kick out illegals - like any and all crimes, the law must be enforced, need a secure border or they come right back in, in which case penalties should become stiffer and stiffer for every repeat offense
Deny government services to illegals - that's right, no emergency rooms, hospital care, police, firefighters, FEMA, traffic lights, nothing. If you don't pay taxes, you don't deserve any of them, because you are essentially stealing from the people that do.
Punish those who employ, smuggle, and harbor illegals - as with drugs, you have to work on the demand side of the problem too, not just the supply side. Anyone that encourages, profits from, and facilitates illegal activity is an accomplice/co-conspirator and must be punished.

LEGAL IMMIGRATION IS GREAT and what this country is based on. Quality people coming to join our society without excessively draining our resources. We have scarce resources, and cannot allow millions and millions of illegals into our country without eventually getting overwhelmed. Unfortunately, our border cannot be an open door to the rest of the world's billions of unfortunate people. Think about it, without immigration law enforcement, with open borders, how many of the world's poor would flock to live in the United States, and what then would our standard of living be? We would become just another third world country.

THERE needs to be a managed, qualified stream of legal immigration that helps this country strengthen, diversify and grow, of people who are qualified, screened, and meet the necessary standards and requirements. People who appreciate this country and what it stands for and will join in, not invade us in uneducated hordes to stay isolated, overwhelming US culture with their own through sheer force of numbers while taking advantage of government services (police, fire, medical, national security, etc.) without paying taxes.

AND we cannot be hypocrites, and we have to be prepared for the consequences, and we must act before the illegal population is so high that it overwhelms even our political system as their children vote in ever increasing numbers. We cannot make money or save money off of cheap illegal labor, whether it is agriculture, cleaning crews, construction, what have you, and then turn around and complain about higher expenses. Many greedy Americans happily profit off of illegals - Bank of America is now offering credit cards to illegals that have no social security numbers. Cell phone companies and banks are working out a system by which illegals can send money to their home countries via cell phones. Large corporations and farmers bus truckloads of illegals around to do things as cheaply as possible. We cannot cry if after cracking down on illegals we have to pay a few cents more as consumers per pound of vegetables, or for professional cleaning services, or for lawn care. Everything is a trade off and we cannot have it both ways.

I love America, my family came here as legal immigrants, as did most Americans' at some point. Land of the free, equal opportunity, public education, etc. If you love America and will follow the rules, I want you to come and work hard and enjoy our opportunity and make our country even better. If you sneak in illegally you are a criminal and need to be punished, along with anyone that helps you. I do not want to live in a third world country, or see my children or grandchildren living in a third world country, which is what will happen with uncontrolled illegal immigration.

I agree, you can be against illegal immigration but not be disrespectful towards illegal aliens.
People are like that.
