Who cares. These men were doing there job and got shafted. Don't come here illegally, don't smuggle drugs into this country and you won't get shot. Pretty simple.

It doesn't matter what Mexico thinks it is a US matter. The need of some to be PC is what put them in jail wrongfully to start with. So what if a illegal immigrant drug smuggler got shot. I don't care. How many deaths, rapes, robberies, and murders can be attributed to the very poison he was bringing in or has brought in in the past. The drugs help to place over 90% of our prison population where they are. Our BP has the right and need to use their weapons against the enemies of our country.
Yes they were convicted by a jury but since the trial it has come to light that the evidence was based on lies and falsehoods. Do you know what charges they were booked on? What is wrong with protecting the American people from a drug dealer? If the guy was a gang member in Podunk Ill. and was a citizen with 700 lbs of drugs running from a cop he would have been shot too. The cop would have been placed on Admin leave with or without pay while they did an investigation and then he would have been returned to full duty. Shooting justified. The only reason this went any different is because it was an illegal that was shot. Look up the whole story of how the illegal was caught and granted amnesty from prosecution for his testimony. It was a political move by someone who was playing to a largely Hispanic population for future votes. They were not trying to achieve justice.

And 3 of that jury said they were pressured into their verdict and Homeland Security officials admitted lying about the two agents.
This case has nothing to do with Mexico except the know drug smuggler was from there. It is an internal domestic case. That will soon be over turned for the miscarriage of justice that it was.Pardon The Two Border Patrol Agents.
If Mexico would stop the drug traffic on their side this would not have happened.

First, Ramos and Compean did nothing wrong, hence NO forgiveness necessary. It is the US Government and President Bush that should get down on their knees and beg forgiveness of these two heroes for the injustices they have suffered.
Secondly who cares about our relationship with Mexico? what do they bring to the table? Are they going to stop allowing the drug cartels from smuggling drugs across the border? Will they stop supplying GPS navigation devices to the hoardes of illegals invading our country? Maybe they will prohibit US citizens from vacationing there? Oh gee I am really worried.
Ramos and Compean were framed and everybody knows it.
Here are the facts. Rather lengthy, hope you don't hav ADD

Who really cares what Mexico thinks,,,they only do things for the US if it is to their advantage, no matter what it is and it all revolves around money. Mexico might think that we "need" them and even though we are neighbors, they have nothing we can't get here, except for cheaper tortillas and tequilla, but as a superpower or even a back up, they have nothing. The country of Portugal has more firepower and heart than Mexico will ever have. Mexico will turn over criminals if the criminal cannot pay the authorities to hide them out. Great example, that Max Factor dude, was hiding out and living the high life and paying the gov't of Mexico, mucho bucks to be kept out of sight, out of mind, but Dog the Bounty Hunter screwed that all to hell, that is why Mexico wanted him sent back to Mexico to face ******** charges, because Mexico lost their hide money. Screw them and to hell what Mexico thinks,,,,!!!

It would be just one more sob story, nothing will change for the better either way, better that justice be served than innocence persecuted.
