A posh Manhattan building has ordered all its employees to only "speak English" when at work - drawing the ire of workers who in some cases only speak Spanish.

London Terrace Gardens, located at 415-435 W. 23rd St. in Chelsea, issued a memo to its employees, ordering them to only "speak English in all public areas as well as on the [walkie-talkie] radio."

While running for governor,Kinky Friedman came up with what I consider to be a good idea for controlling the tide of illegal aliens. Now,keep in mind,he said that he knew this could never be implemented. But it was still a perfect example of the kind of radical thinking we need to control this problem.
His idea was that we divide the border up into 5 sections. We then hire 5 generals from the mexican army and assign each a section of border to patrol(on their side). Then, for each general we open an escrow account of $1,000,000.Every time we catch an illegal coming across the border we deduct $10,000 from the account of the general in charge of that section.
What do you think about this?Would it work?

To our country ? Is this is mostly about Hispanic illegals and the White people that support them. Ask them should we allow 10 million from Africa...and would you get a different answer?
Illegal alien advocacy groups tonight are demanding that the federal government stop altogether the arrest and deportations of illegal aliens. The illegal alien lobby also wants permanent U.S. residency for every illegal alien already in this country. The advocacy groups appear to be funded by so-called immigrant rights foundations supported by corporate America, as well as by membership fees, of course.http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0701/25/ldt.01.html

In doing some recent Y-DNA studies, I find that the Spanish forefathers to Mexicans and White Americans share a common R1b1 Celtic ancestor. Mexican surnamed men and Anglos share common ancestry. Is this immigration issue pointless? Is it infighting? Your thoughts?

I am a us citizen and my husband lives in Nepal. My petition for I130 for alien relative just got approved. I was very surprised because it took less than 90 days!

What is the next step?

I don't think he has to wait for a visa number because he is coming over as a non immigrant..

I want answers from professionals or people that have gone through this ONLY!!

I don't want people guessing or copy/ pasting off the visa site..

I have read all that..

I am looking for REAL answers..

Thanks!!

I have been unable to find any info regarding their visa system so I am not sure what I am supposed to do or apply for first. Do I need to get a temporary visa first?
