I am a South African citizen, wanting to move to France and work as an English teacher. What is the process I need to go through to get a work permit or residency? I have been unable to find any info regarding their visa system so I am not sure what I am supposed to do or apply for first. Do I need to get a temporary visa first? I have a university degree in English and years of experience,so do I need to do some sort of TEFL course before I can get a job there?how long do I need to be there in order to qualify for residency?
